Continuity mistake: At the ATM, when Ramona is pulling money out, you can see the reflection of a police car pull up behind her. It pulls up just as she begins to turn around and nobody is getting out in the reflection nor are lights on. But suddenly when she turns around several officers are already standing with guns trained on her and the lights on.
Continuity mistake: The plate on the vehicle (Silver Mustang - IV6866R), appears in one scene and disappears in the next. (01:21:10)
Continuity mistake: When Lance is telling the guard at the start that he's going to throw his gun to the snowman behind them, the snowman that is there was not there in a previous shot and appeared from nothing.
Continuity mistake: The new Bosley goes for a hug after reporting Edgar's demise. You can see as the hug begins that the sunglasses are not in Elizabeth Banks ' left hand, but it's where they end up when she says that "hugs work." (00:27:50)
Continuity mistake: The two cucumber slices that Jesper puts in the palm of the Drill Sergeant change position between shots - in particular, in the close-up with Jesper walking away and putting the teacup in his hand as well, the two slices are side by side, while they are instead one on top of the other before and after. Continuity mistake: At the skate park (which is supposed to be Thursday after school), Max is wearing the clothes he wore on Wednesday and Friday - not the clothes he wore in school on Thursday.
Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie in several scenes the living room has 2 couches even up until the Parks are getting ready to leave for their camping trip, 1 big one and one small. The very next scene when the Kims are getting drunk, the small couch has disappeared. This must be to make room for the Kims to slide and crawl out from under the table. The strange thing is when the Parks come back home, they don't notice that one of their couches is missing. It remains missing until the end.
Continuity mistake: When Gatsby and Chan are talking in the taxi, her hair appears to be tucked behind her ear when the camera is on her left but it isn't when the camera is on the right. Every time the camera changes, the difference in her hair can be seen. (00:33:51)
Continuity mistake: In the first movie, it is stated that the program was started in the '50s, but in this one it is stated that Gustave Eiffel was an MIB agent. He died in 1923.
Continuity mistake: Zeke is in the kitchen with his daughter. He is checking out Dick's driving license; in the close-up he is holding it with his left hand, but in the following shot, as she asks him "Where'd you find it?" he is holding it in his right hand. (00:10:15)
Continuity mistake: The inspector is showing the singer the gruesome images of her friend. As he says "It's how we identified the remains", she raises her right hand, but in the next shot it's with the left hand that she's touching her lips. (00:04:45)
Continuity mistake: After Sara's mother sits at the table, the left side of Sara's hair suddenly has two clumps of strands running down her cheek and flipped in front of her chin. Sara's hair changes a few times with different camera angles. (00:44:52)
Continuity mistake: She is walking from the sofa barefoot, but when she puts down the school year book on the glass table you can see that she has slippers with diamond stones on. (00:28:00)
Continuity mistake: When we see Christmas Flint with her dad and Miss Rayleen for the first time, she's watching them bicker, her chin perched on the back of her hand. Which hand, though? It's her left hand for the greater part of the scene, but in the shot when Jim Gaffigan is saying "I got to find my pants. You move my pants?" it's the right one. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: The dorky protagonist just bumped into the bike shop girl. She tells him "It's all good, man", to which he replies asking how's the bike. Behind him, a woman with a dog makes her appearance. Over 10 seconds of conversation pass, and the woman is still where she was, but in the shot that follows, when she says "I'm Cate, by the way", the woman warped past him, and is now behind her to the opposite end of the sidewalk. Continuity mistake: The lamp above the picture on the wall at the karate school/studio changes in appearance a few times. The first time Casey visited the school, the light bulb was covered by the lamp shade (which was aimed toward the picture); the bulb was not visible but it cast light onto the picture. When the picture was blurred behind Sensei, there was a round circle totally outside of the shade to represent the light bulb (which should have been inside the lamp shade and not visible). Continuity mistake: Feng's "sex doll" Maria apparently moves herself further down on the bed. When Bruce is offering Feng stacks of $100 bills, Maria can be seen in the background with her head at the middle of and largely horizontal to the two pillows by the headboard. After Bruce leaves and Feng turns around waving the credit card, Maria is closer to the foot of the bed and her head is more toward the right of the screen. (00:27:44 - 00:28:36)
Continuity mistake: The tassel on Molly's graduation cap disappears at the end of her speech, then reappears later.
Continuity mistake: During their first night at the camp, Jojo and his friend are talking while they play with their knives. During the scene the knives change position between cuts (blatant especially when they mention the brussels sprouts or when he rolls to the other side to sleep). (00:08:40)
Continuity mistake: When Aunt Sarah arrives, she dumps her luggage in the hands of Jim and then passes him to his right, leaving him between herself and the door. In the reverse shot, Jim is on the opposite side. (00:29:15)
