Other mistake: In the scene where Jensen is attempting to decrypt the password on the hard drive with the algorithm, he uses the command "traceroute d-hea" which is commonly used to test network connectivity, not decrypt passwords.Then follows it with the command "dir" to reveal HTML code instead of directory structures.
Factual error: As the three Israeli agents are stepping off a plane in Israel in 1966, one of the cars viewed behind them is a 1978 Olds 98 (with its late 70's square headlights). (00:01:45)
Continuity mistake: During the fight at the End of the Line Bar, Gem walks and stand next to Castor. Later she move to the left and sits on a couch for the rest of the fight. However, at the very beginning, right after Quorra jumps and protect Sam, there's a brief cut where we can already see her sitting there, too early.
Factual error: In the home video scenes, which were supposed to have been filmed during the 1970s or earlier, young Mickey Ward is shown wearing gloves bearing the Title Boxing logo. The Title Boxing company wasn't founded until 1998.

Continuity mistake: When Beth is chasing after a poker chip, she ditches her high heels to run faster, after passing by some statues. However, this is shown to happen in front of a car art piece. The art piece is above the statues, so she couldn't have ditched her pumps in the way shown in the film. You can even see her discarded heels in an aerial shot by the car, and above the statues. Most likely, they shot a scene where she kept her heels on while running, and another where she tossed them off, and combined it. (01:15:21 - 01:15:42)
Continuity mistake: After Marmaduke squishes the toothpaste, the amount on the wall decreases between shots.
Plot hole: Modern diabetes management will tell a patient immediately if their glucose levels are out of the ordinary. Results are not monitored and delivered to a county jail by an outside lab. If a diabetic is sick enough, they would have obvious physical indications. The entire escape plan hinges upon these fallacies.

Factual error: Detective Bowden's son is ejected from the front of the car and there is a hole in the front windshield. The collision was a straight side-swipe and his momentum should have taken him out the passenger-side window. He would have gone out the windshield if the car had been rear-ended or if they had crashed head-on into something, but the car came to rest in an open field.
Factual error: The movie starts off saying its 2007 and Smart Cars were not sold in the US until 2008.
Plot hole: When Andromeda and Perseus wake up on the beach, Andromeda tells Perseus that Argos needs a new leader/king. The problem with this is there is nothing onscreen to show that she even knew her father the King had died. She was hanging by her arms facing the Kraken and she couldn't turn around. By the time her father died, she was already falling into the sea, so again, she shouldn't even know her father has died.
Continuity mistake: When Lynch climbs out of the ski chair the second time, there is a shot looking up, and the chair where Parker should be is empty.
Factual error: Clooney refers to the rifle as an "M14". The RĂ¼ger Mini-14 is a different rifle than the M14 (used e.g. by the Marine Corps prior to the M16).
Other mistake: Finbar is shown torturing a victim while the victim has his head in a halo used for immobilizing a person's head. The screws to hold the victim's head tight can be seen not to be touching his head, yet the victim is still bleeding from the screws.
