Other mistake: The protagonist is still a kid, and she is telling in voiceover about all the things she vows to renounce hoping to have her dad back in health. On the porch she knocks repeatedly on the wood, but the magical numbers don't appear. (00:05:00)

Other mistake: They already stated nobody had TV when the young couple were flirting. Then as the tornado is about to hit the family home Dad rushes to get daughter Sam to go to the basement, and she is playing in front of the TV which appears to be broadcasting the news. Not to mention, if the TV was working, wouldn't most people be watching the news for info?

Other mistake: When Hoitz is yelling in the art museum, a set of wrench sockets is visible behind him. Scene cuts to his ex's boss; upon cutting back merely a second or two later, the socket set has been overturned and spilled everywhere but nobody at the museum seems to notice.

Other mistake: The object thrown (beer can?) at Jarod from the passing truck did not hit him above the neck at the bottom of his head (where his injury supposedly was). The object was thrown with an arc to give the appearance of hitting Jarod on the head, but landed closer to his left shoulder blade. (00:32:28)

Other mistake: In the middle of the movie, there is a scene with the two moms on the couch talking. One mom (red hair lady) wears a necklace with a charm that says "love." There are two camera shots in this scene, one looking directly at her, and another from over her left shoulder. Depending on the shot, the 'love' charm is either visible or tucked under the top of her shirt. This swaps back and forth.

Other mistake: The huge amount of toothpaste on the cat's head manages to disappear completely in a nano second, with the mere lick of his tiny tongue.

Other mistake: When Sam Flynn first enters the arcade, he goes to a breaker box on the wall. When he opens it, the breakers are already in the "ON" position, closest to the center. He actually turns them to the "OFF" position.
