Continuity mistake: When Pierce Brosnan is first in the classroom, the writing on the blackboard keeps changing.
Continuity mistake: The location of Mr. Ferguson's body on the rug (while he was apparently in a "mushroom stupor") changed a few times. He started with his head near the lefthand edge of the rug, but was about a yard toward the right edge when Nick was walking past him. A little later, Mr. Ferguson's feet were at the right edge of the rug, then about a foot beyond the rug, but his body was back to the middle with the next camera shift. (01:01:35 - 01:04:23)
Continuity mistake: When the woman almost overturns the shelves when Wes is signing his book, you can see that in the first shot, all the upstanding books are falling down. In the next shot some are upright, and then in the next they are all lying down again. (00:18:00)
Continuity mistake: Aboard the stolen cab, the guys receive a photo from Jenna posing with the cardboard cutout of herself. She has a rather straightforward pose in the picture in the phone, while a moment later when we actually saw the picture taken she struck a pose cocking her torso and popping the hip out making a pouty face. Continuity mistake: In part 2, as it shows the police cleaning up the crime scene from the end of The Final Chapter, they are shown picking up Jason's hockey mask to place it in an evidence bag. However the cut in the top of the mask from where he was hit with an axe in the previous film is missing. (00:01:05)
Continuity mistake: After Paul tells Meryl that he was hesitant about adoption during their jogging, Meryl returns home. While jogging, she was wearing very tight grey pants. At the barn, her pants are a lot looser.
Continuity mistake: Mr. Nick's cigarette appears at different lengths throughout scene 6. The cigarette appears longer immediately after appearing nearly "burnt out". (00:19:40 - 00:22:25)
Continuity mistake: An overhead shot shows Olivia squirting ketchup onto a pancake, nearly covering it. In the following shot, the amount of ketchup on the pancake has decreased.
Continuity mistake: When the black SUV transmorphs into a robot, it goes to destroy the police car. The CGI interpretation of the police car looks absolutely nothing like the real car, the front grille for instance being completely oversized, and the wheels change totally.
Continuity mistake: When Eve pushes Chev down the stairs at the horse track, we can see there are more seats underneath them. But they fall over the side and onto the track (close to the wall). In the next few shots they start to have sex, and when the camera pans out they are in the middle of the horse track without ever getting up.
Continuity mistake: The concierge is trying to come up with a written answer to Mr. Ozu's Anna Karenina. She crumples the first sheet and there's a cut when she tosses it away; the pad changed position and all the other discarded messages are scattered differently between shots. (00:31:30)
Continuity mistake: In a "movie inside the movie" moment, Arshad Warsi is on the witness stand. In the wide shot the hand he had on the book is held up gesticulating, and at the end of the shot he has his hat in both hands, while it is under his armpit in the shots from the front. (00:12:55)
Continuity mistake: During the scene after his office is ransacked, the level of whiskey in Bill Murray's glass increases between shots.
Continuity mistake: Sophie Marceau's Jeanne meets the Hachette executive Robert (Didier Flamand). She enters the room with handbag and jacket in one hand. She then follows him into the other half of the room. Now she has her clothes in her right hand and her bag is in her left. Not just that; the man had the folder in his left hand in the first shot, but in the new one it's in his right. (00:04:25)
Continuity mistake: When the family is in a parking lot, the amount of beer in the glass on the car's rooftop keeps changing between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Lex Luthor has his battle suit on and fighting Superman and Batman, the head and neck piece change dramatically and constantly. Sometimes the piece surrounds his head, leaving plenty of room and sometimes his head sticks out over the piece. And it's not a matter of angles, because in some shots, everything being the same, the side piece remains at ear level and his head is either above or below the head piece.
Continuity mistake: During the scene when Ian is taped to the chair, the duct tape across his shoulders changes from shot to shot. Some times it touches the shoulder seams on his shirt, and other times it is several inches away.
Continuity mistake: After the spittoon cup gets spilled on Samir's shirt, the stain changes and becomes smaller in a later shot.
Continuity mistake: During the fight in the bathroom, Zoe and the villain break a bathroom stall door and side-wall down. In the next shot the door is back up in its original position. It is the same door that is beside the urinal, not another stall, as it's a small bathroom with only one stall and urinal. (00:28:30 - 00:30:00)
Continuity mistake: When she gets the pizza from the guy at the door, it is in a white box. When she goes in and sets it on the counter, it is in a brown pizza box. Then later, when she is running away covered in blood, she grabs the knife on top of the pizza box, and it is white again.
