Continuity mistake: When Jane is crying and staring at the sky she is not holding a napkin, as the scene cuts back she is.
Continuity mistake: When Dillinger is looking at his watch just before going to the movies, the time is 6:02. Close-up of his mum's photo, and the time is now something like 6:25.
Continuity mistake: When Liv is cake testing/trying she gets up and walks over to a table with a mouth full of cake. Yet the direct shot afterward she is talking with no cake, and begins eating a chocolate.
Continuity mistake: In the carnivorous plant scene, Manny grabs the fruit (the bait), which is sitting in the middle of the plant. In the next few shots, the bait disappears and then is replaced with a bulb that housed the red and blue "wires".
Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when Kirk is being awarded his medal, behind the Federation Counsel you can see 3 flags in the background- the center flag is the California state flag. After Kirk shakes Pike's hand, and the camera pans up and back, the California flag is hanging significantly different so that it is no longer recognizable, seeming almost blank white. As the ceremony is indoors and all attending are standing motionless, this flag should not have moved. (01:56:25)
Continuity mistake: After Esther suffocates Daniel in the hospital, Kate slaps Esther in the face. The hospital staff then hold down Kate and she drops her iPhone, screen down. The iPhone starts ringing, even though the screen is facing the floor. In the next scene, it is still ringing, but with the screen facing upwards.
Continuity mistake: When the antimatter explodes in the helicopter, the the shock-wave blasts off part of the roof inside St. Peter's Basilica, above the alter, obliterating everything below. However, in the scene where the Camerlengo self immolates himself at the altar close to the end of the movie, there is no evidence of the shock wave earlier, the candles are burning, oil lamps are lit and alter is intact. Continuity mistake: Watch carefully during the scene where Hurley gets launched by the sprinkler. When Darwin says, "Come on, soggy," as he is walking away, the camera pans back to show Hurley still lying on the concrete, we see little guinea pig footprints in water on the sidewalk. They weren't made by Hurley because he hadn't moved and Darwin had dodged the water and was completely dry. Nor did he walk in the water either.
Continuity mistake: When 9 meets 3 and 4, they open his zipper. During this scene, several close-ups show 9 with the zipper closed and open again without anyone closing or opening it.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Clouseau is having his hair shampooed, the amount of shampoo on Ponton's hands changes, and then the suds disappear. (01:07:40)
Continuity mistake: When Kahmunrah first appears on Archie Bunker's chair, the propeller beanie cap hanging on the side of the chair disappears in the close-up.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Kayla is dead and Logan walks to her, her mouth is open in one shot, but in the next shot when his hand is reaching for her eyes, her mouth is closed.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie, the doctor invites the two girls knocking on his door inside out of the rain because their car broke down. He gives them both water (laced with drugs). One of the girls knocks her glass over, spilling most of the water, which can be seen as the glass sits on the table. Then when the doctor leaves the room, while the two girls are talking, you can see that the glass on the table magically is filled again.
Continuity mistake: As Derek Charles hold his cup of coffee and engages in conversation, the cup changes hands several times between shots. (00:12:25)
Continuity mistake: When Garzooka goes to Garfield's house, he pounds on the door and it appears as big as him. But after he breaks the door open, the doorway is thinner. (00:17:05)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning Laurie's bandage goes from bloody to white and back again repeatedly. It also gets wet, yet not even 15 seconds later it's completely dry and white.
Continuity mistake: After the interview, in a 3/4 back shot, we see Castle putting a lollipop in his mouth. The shot instantly changes to him kissing the host's hand - no lollipop in sight anywhere. It then changes back to the original shot with the lollipop in his mouth.
Continuity mistake: The group photo after the exam, appears three times in the movie. On the photo, apart from the place of Rancho, the other places on the photo are all different each time. (01:24:40 - 01:28:20)
Continuity mistake: When Columbus brushes Wichita's hair behind her ear and kisses her, he leaves his hand behind her ear. Her hair changes position between shots; in some it is all behind her ear, in some it is over Columbus' hand, and in others it is half and half.
Continuity mistake: During the pool sequence, we see a few shots of the pressure gauge, some close-up, some wider. In some some shots the scale goes up to 160, in others it only goes to 100.
Suggested correction: It's two totally different gauges in two different places.
