Corrected entry: During the flashback of the night when the prince was turned into a beast, he is wearing a white shirt when he sees the old woman with the rose. However, as seen in the first movie, the prince was actually wearing blue and red robes when he saw the woman.
Corrected entry: Any auto mechanic will tell you that there are no wires underneath the area where Kurt Russell is looking on a Jeep that will prevent it from starting.
Correction: The car CAN be immobilised from underneath the car, by simply removing the plug/lug from the starter. 99-100% of car/suv starters are fitted to the lower part of the engine. Never ontop.
Corrected entry: It is assumed that everyone was in the cube for several hours. Quentin confirms this in the beginning by saying the guys have 5 o'clock shadow. However, at the end of the movie which occurs at least a day later, closeup shots of the men's faces show they are clean-shaven.
Correction: He only said that he, himself, had the growth. The other males' hair may not grow as fast.
Corrected entry: When Dexter tells everyone to try Ed's good sauce, in the space of two shots (taking about four seconds) everyone has come over and now has a serving tray with the sauce in it. How did everyone get there so fast?
Correction: After Dexter calls everyone to try the sauce it cuts to the manager who gets up to see whats up. So we don't see the exact amount of time it takes.
Corrected entry: There is a scene where they show a mail truck, and it has the new logo of the postal service.
Correction: You are probably going by the assumption that this movie is set some time in the past (40s or 50s perhaps), but it is never said when it takes place. Therefore, use of the modern postal service logo is not a valid mistake.
Corrected entry: The central character, the enslaved Cinque, was not seized in Africa and then immediately exported to Cuba out of the slave depot at Lomboko. Cinque was enslaved a few years earlier by black Africans (a common practice) and eventually sold to slave traders.
Correction: Even if this is correct (online biographies seem to disagree), Cinque's past history is only shown in short cuts and small portions during a flashback. The film makers merely chose to omit the parts that had no bearing on the story of the Amistad uprising, including Cinque's time in captivity while still in Africa.
Corrected entry: In a scene that takes place in 1979, a woman takes off her dress to reveal that she's wearing a thong. But thongs weren't worn as underwear by American women until the 1990's.
Correction: Thongs did exist in the late 70s, but were more associated with adult entertainments (e.g. strip clubs, adult movies) at the time. As the woman in question is a porn actress, she may be used to wearing them all the time.
Corrected entry: After Philip discovers Flubber, he juggles him and asks Weebo to take a photo of him and Flubber. After taking the photo, Flubber screams and escapes. Shortly after we see the photo, showing Flubber screaming, but Flubber didn't scream until after the photo was taken.
Correction: Flubber did actually scream while the photo was taken. Only the flash of the camera was before he screamed, but a flash is always a little bit earlier than the actual photo.
Corrected entry: When Eboshi is talking with Jigo inside Irontown, Capitan Gonza is seen behind Eboshi. After a close-up on Jigo, the camera flashes back to Eboshi and Gonza has been replaced with a man in a hat.
Correction: Both Gonza and the man in the hat are there the whole time. In the first shot the camera is angled slightly to the left of Eboshi, showing Gonza in the frame. When the camera angle changes it is now more to the left revealing the man in the hat behind Eboshi but you can still see Gonza's back and shoulder in the right hand corner of the frame.
Corrected entry: The Charger is referred to as a "class one show car." Yet it has an aftermarket stereo cassette deck. For it to be a true class one show car, it would need to have the original audio equipment. (00:11:05)
Correction: I've seen classic show cars that, at shows, had their original radios, but between shows, the radio was swapped out for something more modern. Not a hard or lengthy job at all.
Corrected entry: One of the traps Alex lays involved the man switching his gun while he was listening to a phone call, but Alex could not have possibly predicted the phone ringing.
Correction: He didn't. Alex simply left various guns lying around in the hope that the criminals would pick one of them up. That he did is just blind luck.
Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, when Kate goes to talk to Nick, she interrupts the wedding when the minister had said, "Anyone who thinks this couple should not marry, speak now..." which is at the beginning of the service. The wedding service pauses completely for Kate and Nick to resolve their issues and when the minister asks if he can continue, he automatically says, "You may kiss the bride," which is at the end of the service. What happened to the vows?
Correction: The officiator only HAS to pronounce the couple to be legal. The vows are tradition only. Since everyone was so absorbed with what was going on in the back of the church and it had a good ending, they decided to make that the service.
Corrected entry: In the scene when Pest and Himmel are in the boat, Himmel throws up on Pest's face. After Himmel says, "The seagles are coming to eat the vomit," the throw up stuff is completely gone.
Correction: No, it's still there, but most of it has been wiped off. There was plenty of time for that to happen when the camera shows the flock of seagulls.
Corrected entry: When Leeloo falls in Korben's cab, he parks and then rubs his neck. She's supposed to be still knocked out, but there's the the reflection of somebody moving on the window. It's not Leeloo, it's a man.
Correction: I've seen the scenes (even in slow motion) and nothing like this exist. First off, the parking and "rubbing his neck" scene is after Leeloo falls into the cab. There's no reflection of someone moving, however she's not knocked out. When she does get knocked out and Korben is hiding in the fog, there's not a shot of him rubbing his neck. But there still is no reflection of someone moving, although there is a shot of Korben through the window.
Corrected entry: When the judge's robes catch on fire, Brad throws the wine to put the fire out. He uses a wine glass. But at the end of the scene when the judge storms off, Brad is now holding a martini glass with no time to switch it. (00:07:15)
Correction: It's the same wine glass. At the end the glass is tilted toward the camera so the flared side of the glass could be confused for a wide brim, but it's not.
Corrected entry: The true story this movie was supposedly based on is the case of the West Memphis Three, three teenagers who were convicted, perhaps unjustly, of murdering three young boys in a so-called Satanic ritual. The movie, however, is almost nothing like the true story. See the documentary 'Paradise Lost' for the *real* story.
Correction: This was based on Ricky Kasso not the west Memphis murders.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the hillbilly is chasing Nick and T, T tells Nick that the five dollars he gave the waitress was the last he had, where in fact what he gave the waitress was a one dollar bill. (00:17:10 - 00:23:35)
Correction: T gave the waitress the $1 bill to cover Nick's coffee. After they go out after Nick's credit card and fight they end up back in the restaurant where T has breakfast, which he used his last $5 off screen to pay for.
Corrected entry: At the start, when we see the two cops pull up outside the church, the cops get out of the car and start to walk past the burnt out car. The cop with the brown hair walks ahead of the cop with the blonde hair, yet in the following shot, the blonde haired cop is now ahead of the other cop. (00:05:20)
Correction: There is a shot of broken glass on the floor. There is enough time during that shot for them to switch places.
Corrected entry: After Bob and Charlie kill the bear, they are shown wearing clothing made from the bearskin. How did they cure the skin so fast? A raw hide would not work for garments. Tanning a bear hide of that size would take about a fortnight even if they did have the necessary chemicals and equipment, which they show no sign of having.
Correction: I do extensive wilderness survival. Everything they needed to tan the bear hide is present. A process known as brain tanning could be used and completed within a few days. Sharp stone cold be used to skin the animal and flesh the hide. The brain of the animal boiled and broken down then soaked into the hide would provide the chemicals needed.
Corrected entry: At the beginning of the Florida mission, you can see a few shots taken within a swimming pool, where Donnie is playing and capsizing a guy on an air mattress. In one shot he is bare chest, and in the following he is wearing a golden chain. Time: 0 h 49'9" (00:48:55)
Correction: The bare-chested man who pushes someone off a float in the pool is not Donnie. The next shot is of Donnie, and he is wearing a chain.
Correction: The stained-glass windows shown in the first film are a highly stylized re-telling of what happened that night and is not intended to look exactly like the flashback sequence.
