Other mistake: Just before the evil robots capture Bill and Ted's girlfriends, after they crash through the window, the girlfriends ask the robots: "Who are you?" and Bill goes "Well, I'm really Evil Ted!" and unzips himself and out pops Evil Ted, and the other robot goes, "And I'm really Evil Bill!" and out pops Evil Bill. When the robots are herding the girlfriends out just before knocking them out with their breath, you can see two sets of clothes in the bottom left corner if you watch closely.
Revealing mistake: When Toulon's puppet stage is set on fire, the flames in the foreground look rather like they are projected from a regularly set row of blow torches, rather than erratically flickering flames on a wooden floor. (00:25:05)
Continuity mistake: When the jumper shoots Kuffs before going off the ledge, pay attention to the trajectory of the bullet fired from the gun and then to the bullet wound that Kuffs shows us in the taxi cab. They don't match. If the bullet got him where it was supposed to, he would've been hit in the hip/upper thigh area, instead of the side of his abdomen like in the cab.
Continuity mistake: When Martin Short climbs over the hood of the Jeep, he knocks the windshield glass completely out of the frame. A minute later, the glass is installed as normal.
Continuity mistake: At the western bar Louise is drinking a margarita. As the shot goes back and forth between Thelma & Louise, the contents of the drink magically decrease and increase again. The level of Thelma's coke rises as well, when Harlan leaves them. (00:14:00)
Continuity mistake: Right before Ernest falls into his trash truck you can see that it is full of a good mixture of trash, i.e. white trash bags, food containers, etc. But when the camera angle cuts and he lands in the trash, it has now changed to all cardboard boxes.
Continuity mistake: In the club scene, as the camera works its way through the crowd to find Halle Berry. The camera passes a guy drinking beer from a can. The reverse angle shows him drinking beer from a bottle.
Continuity mistake: When Andre is waiting up for Nikki to come home, he kicks off his flip flops and one of them ends up on the coffee table. In the next shot, the shoe isn't there anymore.
Revealing mistake: During the car smuggling scene where Van Damme is fighting on the boat one of the thugs slides/falls against the side of one of the cars. If you look closely, you can see the side view mirror on the car is made of rubber.
Continuity mistake: After Kevin Kline slices his thumb (finger?) in the kitchen, his wife bandages it. Then, as the earthquake hits, they run outside and you can see that the bandage doubles in size.
Continuity mistake: In a few scenes we see in the background BT Telephone boxes this film is set in the 1960's so why are the boxes new with the new BT logo on them. In fact, BT boxes at all? It didn't exist then.
Continuity mistake: The guy that broke his own neck in the interrogation room strangely appears in the next scene, where Angle loses her head. His face is shown in close up twice. (00:15:13)
Factual error: When Mike is in Idaho he has a clear view of Mt. Hood. Even if it were possible to see the mountain from so far away (over 200 miles), there is another mountain range lying between Idaho and Mt. Hood, blocking the view.
Continuity mistake: The scene is where Duncan is sitting across from Ralph trying to convince him that he's the king. It's a taco stand or something. At the start of the scene you see a bottle of Tabasco sauce on the table. In the next view, the bottle is gone and Ralph gets up to get a bottle of Tabasco sauce from the counter.
