Continuity mistake: When Thelma and Louise are chased by the police across the dusty plains there's a aerial shot from behind where the ground is covered with tracks. When the camera changes to a closer angle from the front, the tracks are gone. (01:53:40)
Continuity mistake: When Thelma and Louise lock up the policeman in the trunk they shoot two air holes in the lid. Later the policeman sticks his finger through a hole to point out to the bicyclist where Louise had thrown the keys (surprisingly he could tell from the rather feeble sound what that sound was and where the keys had landed), and the rim of the hole shows that the bullet was shot from inside. Continuity mistake: When the girls have the trucker follow them, they are shown sitting on top of the car. However, when the driver is walking up to them, they are shown getting on top of the car again. (01:50:22 - 01:50:51)
