Audio problem: In the shots of Detective John Mackey standing by the window looking out of the blinds at Selena, while he's on the telephone, as he speaks, nothing that we hear matches up with the movements of the side of his mouth. It is very clearly out of sync, and audio is heard when the mouth is still. (00:07:55)
Audio problem: When Mr. Pendanski is saying, "Smells like puke from a mule." if you look carefully he is actually saying, "Smells like piss from a mule." Original dialog is in the 'Deleted Scenes' section of the DVD.
Audio problem: After the final skirmish between the partisans and Franco's Army, a riderless horse trots across the scene from right to left. The foley track uses the sound of a galloping horse (1,2,3 1,2,3) instead of a trotting horse (1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4).
Audio problem: When Langdon is in the Vatican archives for the second time and they are running out of oxygen, He uses the Swiss Guard's gun to shoot the glass. The problem being it takes roughly 0.8 seconds from the time the sound of the gun goes off to have any impact on the glass. He is no further than 5 metres from the glass, but still, this should be instantaneous.
Audio problem: When Miss Jessica Marbles is reading and "finds out" who the murderer is, she closes the book and puts it down saying, "good heavens." But her mouth does not move.
Audio problem: When Arlo (Thorny's Son) is riding along with Ramathorn and Rabbit, in the very beginning when he's saying "Come on dad, Dad." his lips aren't moving.
Audio problem: When Harry and Nikki are driving in the vintage speedster with no brakes, Nikki is heard saying "same old family crap", but her lips mouth "same old family shit".
Audio problem: There is a scene where the mistress of the murderer enters his bureau. You see her push the door closed while hastening through. You can hear the door lock click - but a half second too early. Her push wasn't that strong. (00:47:05)
Audio problem: At the beginning when Nielsen says it must have been an honor to know Sgt. West, Travolta says "Well, that's one way to put it" without moving his mouth.
Audio problem: When Maxim gives Mrs. De Winter the bunch of flowers, right after they are married, she says a few times "lovely", the last time she says it, her mouth is closed.
Audio problem: When Norman is talking to his "Mother" on the phone, the camera (in Mary's point-of-view) comes in the room and Norman says, "How could you think such a thing. I would never do such a thing," but you can see Norman's reflection in the big mirror hanging in the lounge room and you can see his mouth isn't moving. (01:33:00)
Audio problem: Before the famous attack by a crop spraying aircraft, Cary Grant is set down in the middle of nowhere from a Greyhound Scenicruiser. Another bus, a Flxible BR-29, also stops briefly. The soundtrack of the Scenicruiser's engine is re-used for the Flxible.
Audio problem: During the scene where Lauren is talking to Wade on the phone and the car smashes through the window, she says she's hears the engine of the car, and that it "sounds so weird". Watch closely, though, and you'll see that the words aren't quite synchronized with the way her mouth moves. (I saw this on the VHS tape and the DVD).
Audio problem: When Holmes and Watson are about to go out to the Blackhorse Tavern the second time, Holmes answers Watson's question as to where they're going by saying "the Blackhorse Tavern." However, his lips do not move.
Audio problem: When the ambulance goes to the hospital and the people disappear and he answers, "I'm sorry about that," you can see clearly that his lips don't actually move. (00:40:15)
Audio problem: In the beginning of the movie when Billy is looking for Penny, he is going all over the place trying to find her and when Penny is looking for Walt Jr., she is going all over the place trying to find him. Why don't they just use the speaker Penny uses to call for Billy and to tell her co-workers that the police have located the killer?
Audio problem: When the biker shows up at the end, Holly Hunter asks Cage what he is, to which Cage replies "Do you see it too?" but his mouth is not in sync with what he is saying.
Audio problem: When Michelle is taken inside by the gas station attendant, she thinks he is going to attack her. As she tries the locked door and he grabs her, we hear herscreams but her mouth doesn't match up to them. (00:06:35)
Audio problem: Right after Det. Corelli finds the limerick in her apartment, she pulls out her gun and there is a distinct sound of what's supposed to be her cocking the hammer on her pistol. However, Det. Corelli (along with all the other cops in the movie) uses a Glock semi-auto pistol, which does not have an external hammer that can be "cocked." The sound is added artificially, likely for dramatic effect. (01:06:30)
Audio problem: When Paul goes to Moore's house after Moore is released, it is implied that classical music is playing really loudly in Moore's house. When Paul breaks the door down, the music is still playing and the turntable is spinning in the foreground, but the needle is already at the end of the record.
