Easter egg: On the 'choose their fate' version of the movie, straight after Ashlyn says 'oh a few degrees won't hurt' you get asked which temperature she should change it to (73 degrees or 76 degrees) if you choose 76 degrees, you see Ashlyn and Ashley's alternate death. Instead of being incinerated, the pair are electrocuted, as Ashlyn manages to get out of her tanning bed before the wood shelf jams the pair in, instead she is hit in the head (and knocked unconscious) by the wooden shelf. She later awakens, frees the wood from Ashley's bed, and quotes "I got you" and grabs Ashley's hand, but the glass of the bed underneath Ashley breaks, and she falls into the wiring of the tanning bed, electrocuting them both.
Easter egg: In the "20th Anniversary Edition" (the same one that is part of "The Alien Legacy Collection"), go to the "Extra Features" submenu, on the first screen keep moving the cursor downward until you go past "Main Menu" and highlight an acid hole on the bottom and press the confirmation button to select it. You'll be brought to a menu meant to look like a message science officer Ash is sending to the company detailing the life cycle stages of the alien creature.
Easter egg: Once you're in the Main Menu, highlight the option where it says "Don't watch this". Then, using the directional arrows, press Down, and then Down again. You'll notice the pointer on the screen will dissappear. Then, press the Select button on your remote. Watch this AFTER seeing the whole movie, otherwise it won't have an effect on you.
Easter egg: If you have the Child's Play DVD with Chucky slightly turned and with a scrunched, evil expression, and while holding a knife, go to the bonus features and on the first "page" (Chucky looking down at Andy), press "right" on your remote. Chucky's eyes should turn red, and if you press "enter", you'll get a very brief, animated version of Chucky saying "I'm the original designer toy."
Easter egg: If you go to the special features, then go to page two, click on Visual Effects Progression Scenes. Once there, highlight Play All. From Play all press the up arrow on your remote, followed by the right arrow. A dart board will light up red. Press enter and watch a funny slow mo flick.
Easter egg: On the 2-Disc Director's Cut DVD (Region One), if you can complete the entire trivia game (which includes around 50 or so questions, some of which are extremely hard), you are able to view a hidden video.
Easter egg: Go to special features and press button to go to next menu, when there keep pushing the right arrow. You will see a question mark press enter and see how they created Samara.
Easter egg: When you enter the special features "Alternate ending" page, what you see is not always what you get. If you go down, highlight Main Menu, then hit right, you will highlight a little arrow. Hit enter to access a fantastic storyboard Radical alternate ending.
Easter egg: On the 2 disc Collectors Edition, on Disc 2, under the "Inside the Predator" sub menu, use the arrow keys to go "Up" from the Classified Action selection & the Predators aiming icon will appear next to the title (the 3 red dots the Predator uses to target his weapon with). It will run a brief 2 minute video entitled "Jesse's Ultimate Goal". In it Jesse explains what he wants to do in Hollywood & why he thinks can make the switch from wrestling to acting. He says he would like to work with Robert DeNiro.
Easter egg: Blue Underground version. On the Main Title page, go to Chapters and push the arrow key right to illuminate the hand. Press enter, interview will play.
Easter egg: In the 2 disc special edition, on the pre-production menu, towards the bottom, if you click right, you'll highlight a face-hugger. Click it to see an interesting video by Tom Woodruff Jr., the lead alien.
Easter egg: This Easter Egg is on the Theatrical Version Special Divimax Edition, region 1, although it may be on other regions as well. Go to the Audio Setup. Scroll down to the "Main Menu" option, and then press down one more time. This will highlight the zombie silhouette to the right of the screen. Press enter and it will play an interview with Tom Savini.
Easter egg: In Special Features, press right to highlight the Gremlin hand. Press OK to watch a shoot-out between the Gremlins and John Wayne.
Easter egg: On the 2nd disc, if you go to dissection then hit the down arrow then the right arrow, it will tell you the story of Billy the puppet.
Easter egg: On the main menu, highlight "Play Movie," then push "Down." This will highlight the Trimark films logo. You will be treated to the trailers for "Leprechaun 2" and "Slam."
Easter egg: If you look under Special Features, use the arrow keys to highlight "On Set Peeks", then use the left arrow key to light up a Red symbol. If you click on it, another menu called Haunts will appear with 2 more features - one shows a long version of the home movies shown in the film. The other is a scare reel that shows all the scary parts of the movie condensed to about 2 minutes.
Easter egg: On the menu, go to extra features and click to the right, there's a music video starring Pepper and Dr. Frankenthumb.
Easter egg: To get extra footage go to beyond the movie and start at the top. Push down and left. You have to do this together. Sometimes it's easier pushing down and quickly pushing left. The microwave should light up with a picture of lighting. You will be able to see screen tests of all the new main characters.
Easter egg: Region 2, disc 2 of The Mummy Returns there is a 'mummification featurette'. To get to it you must highlight and enter Egyptology 201, then enter 'In depth Look at Mummification' section and press right twice to highlight a scorpion. Press enter to see the featurette.
Easter egg: On the Region 1 DVD from the trilogy box set, go to the Special Features menu. The cursor should be on 'Deleted Scenes'. Push 'up' and the cursor will move to the right of the 'Special Features' title. Hit 'Select' to see footage of Katharine Isabelle, Emily Perkins and John Fawcett joking around during rehearsals. This easter egg is also included as a standard special feature in the 2014 Blu-Ray release through Shout Factory.
