Character mistake: In the scene where Maggie tells her sister she is pregnant and how far along she is in her pregnancy, her sister says the child will be a Gemini, just like Einstein. Einstein's birthdate is March 14th, making him a Pisces. Lisa also mentions that Shirley Manson from the band Garbage is also a Gemini, when in fact she is a Virgo.

Character mistake: During the surgery, one of the surgeons says to give the patient 25 cc's of cyatril. Then one says make it 35 cc's. 35 cc's (or 35 mL) is a full large syringe. The other doctor uses what looks like a 3 mL syringe and it's only partly filled. It seems the surgeons wanted 0.35 cc's.

Character mistake: Amber was a poster artist and Ben was a musician. Amber said to Serena, "You know a lot of people and can afford rent, so why do you want to live downtown?" The downtown area or center of a city is especially attractive to artists (as Amber should know) for its art/cultural/entertainment opportunities and experiences. Amber was also implying that it was more expensive to live in the suburbs than in a downtown apartment (where rent can be unaffordable to all but at least the upper-middle class). (00:07:20)

Character mistake: When Chucky is looking up the information about Andy on the computer, the word juvenile is misspelled "juvinile."

Character mistake: When the sheriff confronts Charlotte after she has shot at the bulldozer operator, he tells her that her gun is unlicensed, but he will overlook it. Louisiana does not have, and never has had, any form of gun licensing or registration.

Character mistake: Ginny is supposed to be put head first into the ambulance, not feet first. All the monitoring equipment is in the front of the head. (01:24:20)

Character mistake: Early in the film we are repeatedly shown the alien character flirting happily with various men, relaxed, confident, even socially forward, in fact often more articulate and socially at ease than the various Glaswegians she encounters. Yet later on, inexplicably, all this social nous mysteriously disappears and she is completely baffled and blindsided by the simplest of social interactions, almost a mute. Since the film has virtually no plot it's hard to see why this jarring turnaround should be so.

Character mistake: When Dr. Elkins is measuring the Killer Whale, she says "111 centimeters" followed immediately by "68" (centimeters). But her arm spread shown when she says that is not 111 centimeters - about 3.6 feet (1+ YARD wide). It's more like 2 feet. The "68 centimeters" is actually more accurate for the shot though: 26 inches, which is shown.

Character mistake: Henderson asks the guy as he's leaving the room to get him some bourbon. They already drank in the bar and spat it out when they found out that everything had turned to blood, so it would still be blood.

Character mistake: When Cain is attempting CPR on the flatlined patient at the beginning of the film, he tells the other doctor, "She just needs a little more time for the drugs to circulate." Circulation stops at the moment of flatlining. (00:05:25)

Character mistake: Zoe states that Lilly's condition is very contagious and will spread through the camp if they don't go out and get the proper medical supplies they need. She puts Lilly in quarantine... and then proceeds to visit Lilly with no protective equipment. No mask, and even touches Lilly with her bare hands before going back out to the rest of the people. (00:19:20)

Character mistake: Andy speaks of Billy changing in the two months after he was hired when he was hired in the spring months ago.

Character mistake: Mia's Sea-Monkey, in a vertical position, was shown sinking to the bottom the jar. It isn't clear if the Sea-Monkey was dead or if Mia was referring to it when she said, "She's gonna freeze to death, Aiden", but Mia should have known how to properly care for her Sea-Monkey (or refer to the instructions) and, realizing the room was too cold, should have done something - such as wrapped a towel/blanket around the jar and/or moved the jar to a warmer location (e.g, near the fireplace). (01:22:33)

Character mistake: The news article on the murdered gentleman David Carradine discusses has the word existence spelled wrongly. It says existance. (00:37:57)

Character mistake: When the main character follows the Dutch businessman down the stairs (the same scene the girl with the white jacket and white bag walks downstairs before we see her walking up the stairs) there is a commercial which reads "JETZT AUCH AM DVD" which is wrong and should be "JETZT AUCH AUF DVD." (01:22:45)

Character mistake: When the 3 boys and Rogers are trying to recruit scouts, they pledge to Rogers and Carter raises his left hand but in the next shot he has his right hand raised. (00:09:05)

Character mistake: There are some musicians at different times in the movie. One of them is playing a moraharpa (traditional Swedish instrument, a predecessor of the nyckelharpa), but holding and playing it incorrectly. (00:38:37 - 01:39:45)

Character mistake: Marjorie's supervisor said the police found Nathan "torturing an animal [dog], there was a struggle and he assaulted one of them." Marjorie then asked, "Is he violent?" Her supervisor replied, "I have no reason to believe so. I mean, he did resist arrest, but that's probably out of fear" and the mental health team said there was "no obvious psychopathy." Social workers/mental health teams should have assessed cruelty to animals and resisting arrest as indicators of potential for violence. (00:03:55 - 00:04:30)

Character mistake: In the very first scene, in the first shot you see a sign in Spanish that says "NO PASE por orden del departamento de arquiologia". The correct Spanish word is arqueologia.

Character mistake: Daphne's mother is the one who pressed her husband to tell her the truth, but she is cheering when he says about the basketball anecdote that it was 'real', when later he corrects himself saying "real-ly me, disguised as a mascot." (00:17:25)
