Other mistake: Towards the end of the movie, when Superman drops Gus off at the coal mine, Gus begins talking with the coal miners about him and Superman. He then rips open his shirt (as if he had a Superman costume on underneath). How did Gus know that Clark Kent tore his shirt like that in order to change into Superman, or keeps his suit under his clothes at all? The only people who know this fact are the ones who have seen the transformation from Clark to Superman, i.e. the audience.
Other mistake: Two cars with the same license plate numbers are seen as the minions are hitch hiking on the road. The plates of the hippie wagon and the old lady's car both read D-6413.
Other mistake: When McCroskey gets the information about Joe Seluchi, he's told that Seluchi purchased life insurance and was impotent. McCroskey informs Ted about Seluchi and the bomb he's carrying but nothing else. When Ted confronts Seluchi, he mentions both the insurance and the impotence.
Other mistake: Bridget has a large, fabulous flat in what another mistake contribution has identified as a trendy area of London - just around the corner from Borough Market - and there's no way she could afford it on her salary of assistant at a publisher's office. When Shishka-Jack falls, the pole gets jammed between the cliffs, but the pole does not break and the rope does not tear. When Elton is driving Cher home from the party in the Valley, they show the exact same shot of the blue sports car passing the Hertz car rental sign.
Suggested correction: Who says she pays for it herself? Her parents are rather well off. Surely they can help her afford a decent flat.

From where do you get the idea that her parents are wealthy? They are ordinary middle class country folk. A flat like Bridget's would cost the 2024 equivalent of about £2,700 a month - about £1700 at 2001 prices. That is well beyond the visible means of her parents.
Making up deus ex machina explanations for blatant mistakes does not invalidate them. Bridget's parents are ordinary, middle class country folk. The thought that they could subsidize their daughter to the tune of £2000+ a month is laughable. The posting is absolutely correct.
