Cigars of the Pharaoh: Part 1 - S1-E6

Revealing mistake: After the plane flies off, the gunmen continue to fire. If you look at the gunman on the bottom left, every time he shoots, a small smoke cloud comes out of the shotgun. The smoke cloud just stays on the edge of the shotgun until he shoots the next time. (00:20:55)

Cigars of the Pharaoh: Part 2 - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: In the scene where they find Mrs. Snowball fainting, Mr. Snowball (standing to her left) grabs her hand and Doctor Finney stands next to Mr. Snowball on his right. A few shots later, it is now Doctor Finney standing next to Mrs. Snowball on her left and Mr. Snowball next to Doctor Finney on his right. In the shot after that, Mr. Snowball is now standing next to Mrs. Snowball on her right. (00:30:30)

Cigars of the Pharaoh: Part 2 - S1-E7

Plot hole: The doctor at the mental hospital reads the letter Doctor Finney wrote him. It read that it was Tintin who was insane and Doctor Sarcophagus who wasn't insane. However, although he totally bought it, he never even took into account that Doctor Sarcophagus was pant-less or the fact that he was dancing like an Egyptian guy, which would have been enough to prove that Sarcophagus was the insane one. King Ottokar's Sceptre: Part 2 - S2-E5

Question: When Tintin and the King discover King Ottokar's scepter had been stolen, both Hector and the guards are shown to have been knocked out. Later, Tintin points out that Hector had stolen the scepter by placing it in a camera, put it next to the window and shot it out of the window using the camera. If that's how Hector managed to get the scepter out of the building, then what was it that caused Hector and the guards to get knocked out? (00:33:10 - 00:35:50)

Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
