Revealing mistake: After Tintin has noticed Snowy gnawing on the bone, Tintin says "Let's just darken these letters and see what comes up". During the shot of him darkening the letters, the area of the letters on the wrapper that were darkened is differently animated than the area that hasn't been darkened yet. For example, the area of the letters on the wrapper that had been darkened is a dark white color. But the area that hadn't been darkened is a bright white color. This goes for the areas that weren't darkened by the pencil at all. (00:05:30)

Revealing mistake: After Tintin, Haddock and Calculus meet Colonel Alvarez, they are seen driving through downtown in a car. Watch the people, buildings and posters on the sidewalk. Each time the shot cuts, it is always the exact same people. Exact same buildings. And exact same posters on the sidewalk. Also, as Calculus starts talking, the same thing has been done again, except the background is different. (00:07:05)

Revealing mistake: The shot prior to the plane landing shows a village of people where some of them are in the background watching the plane. You'll see a blonde guy in the foreground with messed up elbow animation. It keeps jiggling all over the place. (00:05:55)

Revealing mistake: Just after Tintin says "The last I heard he was hiding in the jungle trying to organize the resistance", a shot is shown of the plane window flying over the clouds with a shadow on the clouds. Revealing mistake: The shot after Tintin says "We can't give up now" shows Tintin, Haddock and the Sherpas hiking through a dry hill. Over the first hill is a part of the ground that is black. As the shot continues, an extra part of black ground instantly appears from nowhere, as if the animators forgot to draw the black ground during the first half of shot. (00:11:55)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
