After the brother with the gun shoots the knight armour, Tintin is crawling around the room far behind them, and pops his head up where he can see them. About 2-3 seconds later, he is then shown as a mirror reflection the brothers are tricked into thinking is real, nowhere near his previous spot. 4 seconds after that, Tintin is hiding behind a cupboard at the other end of the room, that the brothers just quickly run by. The crates he uses to hold the submarine parts in would not big enough to hold the entirety of the submarine. The crates shown are only a couple of feet wide and even smaller in height, but the shark submarines shown in the episode are much larger than the overall size of the crate. (00:06:50)

Other mistake: Tintin runs upstairs and Mueller tries to shoot Tintin. He misses Tintin and shoots the door frame and the wall. When he shoots the wall, the bullet in the door frame tilts an inch. (00:16:00)

Other mistake: Mueller tries to shoot Tintin from outside the medicine room. He ends up shooting a bottle of chloroform. After it has been shot, the "C" on the bottle's label disappears from shot. (00:16:10)

Other mistake: The villains look at Calculus on his radio. In this shot, Calculus has a reflection in the mirror but his eyes don't seem to have a reflection at all. (00:03:05)

Other mistake: When the taxi gets hit, the number plate reads "GE 7051" on the back of the car, but when the taxi falls into the water, the number plate reads "GE 7054" on the front of the car. The number plate should be the same on both ends. (00:14:55)

Other mistake: When the Colonel opens the door after finding out about Calculus's release, the door handle is never pushed down, but the door still opens anyway. (00:39:30)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
