Revealing mistake: Just after Tintin says "The last I heard he was hiding in the jungle trying to organize the resistance", a shot is shown of the plane window flying over the clouds with a shadow on the clouds. The plane flies over a cloud with part of it missing and for one frame only, the shadow is seen going over the part of the cloud that was missing. (00:05:40)

Each time the shot cuts, it is always the exact same people. Exact same buildings. And exact same posters on the sidewalk. Revealing mistake: After Haddock snaps the door to the window, the big guy enters the room pointing a gun at Haddock. The shot then cuts to Haddock with fruit all over the place. Look to the left of screen and you'll an apple laid on top of another apple completely unnaturally. (00:10:00)

Revealing mistake: After Pablo has finished telling Tintin, Haddock and Calculus about General Alcazar's plan, he leaves and the shots cuts to the three being watched on CCTV. Although the footage is in black and white, there is some wine shown in one of the glasses that is coloured red. (00:14:55)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
