Continuity mistake: Calculus walks into the apartment to talk with Tintin and Haddock. When he starts talking, his back is straight and sitting upwards. The shot cuts and he is suddenly sitting slightly forwards with his head also pointing forwards. Continuity mistake: When Calculus arrives at the docks to demonstrate the shark submarines, there are images of the submarines shown on each crate. There is no crease shown on the image on the top crate and there is a crease on the image on the bottom crate. Continuity mistake: Whilst Tintin, Haddock and the detectives are on their way back from Francis Haddock's island in the boat, there is a Sirius logo on the front of it.
