Continuity mistake: When the police officer is asking one of the cars if they saw a black Sedan on the road, the driver has a cigarette in his mouth. As the car drives away, the cigarette has vanished. (00:31:10)

Continuity mistake: When the police officers are telling Haddock that they have lost track of the intruders, Tintin inspects a tree with a scratch mark. In the first shot, he is inspecting the scratch mark with one finger, but in the next shot, he is suddenly using his entire hand. (00:31:55)

Continuity mistake: When Haddock kicks the hat laid on top of a brick, the brick is right next to a railway track, but when Haddock yells out "Hooligans" to the kids and picks up the brick, the brick is much further away. (00:39:50)

Continuity mistake: Tintin and Haddock exit a movie theatre and are walking down the sidewalk, with the sidewalk facing behind them. After they bump into General Alcazar and Tintin realises that it is him, it is suddenly the main road that is behind them. (00:01:35)

Continuity mistake: When Tintin shows the man at the desk at the hotel the drawing of Alcazar, Tintin's coat sleeve is not the regular beige, but a dark green sleeve. The notepad also goes from being held vertically to horizontally. (00:02:35)

Continuity mistake: After bumping into Alcazar, when Tintin says "the Captain and I were just talking", a woman can be seen walking along the sidewalk across the street in the far background and is about to exit the frame. Continuity mistake: When Tintin is pouring Haddock a cup of coffee, the liquid shown when first being poured is dark, but when Tintin is pouring coffee for himself, the same liquid is much lighter. (00:05:10)

Continuity mistake: Tintin and Haddock are at Oliveira's place and Oliveira is pouring Tintin a drink. The drink is visibly coloured, presumably alcohol, but in the next shot, the liquid is now water. (00:16:00)

Continuity mistake: When Tintin, Haddock and Skut are spotted by the cruise ship, Muller and the Captain are looking at them through binoculars. Muller is shown standing facing the ocean, holding binoculars, but in the next shot, Muller is suddenly facing with his back to the ocean, with his hands by his side. (00:29:50)

Continuity mistake: When Haddock breaks himself and Tintin out of the cabin, he and Tintin run out to the front deck and notice that the ship on fire. At this moment, Tintin is wearing socks and no shoes, but moments later, when Haddock suggests that they need to find a raft, Tintin suddenly has his shoes on. (00:34:05)

Continuity mistake: When the submarine fires on the cargo ship, Haddock yells "Full speed ahead" and pulls back the lever controlling the speed, but the lever snaps off, leaving it positioned at the SLOW sign, putting the ship in reverse. A few shots later, when Haddock puts a screwdriver against where the lever is place, it is suddenly positioned towards the HALF sign. (00:40:20)
Continuity mistake: When Allan realises that Rastapopoulos wants Carreidas alive, there is a grenade pin in one of his fingers from the grenade that he just took out. Allan then throws the grenade away, and the pin for the grenade has suddenly vanished. (00:28:55)
Continuity mistake: When the group is reunited with Gino and Skut, Skut is smiling with his mouth open. Tintin walks over to them in the next shot, and Skut's mouth is suddenly closed. (00:33:30)
Continuity mistake: After arriving in Jakarta, Haddock is correcting Professor Calculus telling him it is not Sydney. The last time Haddock tells Calculus this, he's saying "It's not Sydney yet. It's Jakarta", and Haddock has pale skin and is also looking annoyed. Calculus then says "Yes, I know" and Haddock suddenly has more tanned skin and is smiling. (00:01:30)
Continuity mistake: When Haddock trips over Skut's bag, he lands face down on Skut's chest. When he trips and lands, both Haddock and Skut have pale light skin, but in the next shot, their skin is suddenly more tanned. (00:02:20)
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Carreidas and Mr. Spaulding walk over to Tintin, Haddock and Skut, in the shot where Skut says "Mr. Carreidas, these are my friends", the money that Haddock previously placed into Carreidas' hat is sticking out of it and a portion of the note is tucked into Carreidas' hat. In the next shot, only the top right corner is tucked into into Carreidas' hat. (00:03:15)
Continuity mistake: When Carreidas breaks out laughing for the first time, there is a moment where he lowers his head downwards. After this, the shot cuts to Mr. Spaulding saying "Are you all right sir?" and Carreidas head, visible in the corner of frame, is suddenly raised. (00:03:50)
Continuity mistake: When Carreidas receives a call from New York, he takes the phone from the flight attendant. The cord on the phone is black when the flight attendant is holding it on the dish, but red when Carreidas answers the call. (00:06:10)
Continuity mistake: On the plane, Carreidas is playing battleship with Haddock. Whilst he is saying "C4. D4. E4", he places his pen on the right hand side of the page, but when he crosses out E4 in the following shot, the pen is suddenly pointing near to the left hand side. (00:07:10)
