Continuity mistake: The car that shoots at Tintin is about a foot away from him in the shot that shows Tintin walking. In the following shot, the car starts to accelerate, which can only mean the car is now way past Tintin. But the gunman shoots Tintin from a horizontal angle, right next to him. (00:06:05)

Continuity mistake: At the start of Thomson and Thompson's meeting with Ben Salaad, Ben pours a drink into one of the three glasses he has on the table. When Ben goes annoyed when they accuse him of being a drug smuggler and the three glasses bounce into the air, not one of the glasses seem to have any drink in them. Continuity mistake: At the start of the meeting, there are 7 people including Tintin. With the exception of Tintin, this makes 6 people. After Tintin finds out the identities of the brotherhood, there are 7 people with the exception of Tintin. Tintin did take someone's clothes, however all the people there are dressed in their robes and Tintin is dressed in the robes as well. (00:38:45 - 00:40:00)

Trivia: There is a mistake pointing out that the newspaper at the end is a flipped shot. If you flip it the right way round, you will see on the right hand side of the article the word "Spielberg" on one of the lines, a reference to director Steven Spielberg. Steven Spielberg went on to direct the Tintin movie Secret of the Unicorn in 2011. (00:43:35)
