Axis Annie - S3-E23
Factual error: After Carter realises Hogan got the envelope off so fast, Newkirk says "Speedy Gonzales." 'Hogan's Heroes' was supposed to take place from 1942 to the end of the war. Speedy Gonzales first appeared in "Cat Tails for Two" in 1953.

Other mistake: The fire spread from the back of the canopy to the front too quickly to be real. Therefore, it had to be soaked with an accelerator.
Factual error: On the map in Klink's office, the nearest town's name is Hamilburg. This a misspelling, as the real name is Hammelburg.

Some of Their Planes Are Missing - S3-E2

Some of Their Planes Are Missing - S3-E2

Some of Their Planes Are Missing - S3-E2
Continuity mistake: As the boys trade candy bars and Schultz reaches in, Hogan stops everything and his left hand is up with a bar in it, his right hand empty. A second later, his left is down, and the bar has jumped to his right hand.
Is There a Doctor in the House? - S3-E18
Revealing mistake: As Carter blows into the bottom of the oven, the suds that hit Newkirk in the face come out in a thin stream on top, not out of the whole stovepipe.
Factual error: In several episodes, Hogan's men communicate by radio with a British submarine, and the dialog hints that the sub is submerged at the time. During the WWII era, submarines could not communicate by radio without surfacing first. In most episodes one might argue that the sub could be running shallow with a mast up, which would perhaps be within the technical possibilities of the era, but in this episode, the sub is talking to Hogan's men while under attack by a destroyer. This pretty much rules out running at periscope depth, because ramming was regularly-used tactic for killing subs that were in the process of diving or surfacing. To avoid confusion: Nowadays, subs can communicate while running several hundred feet deep by using VLF and ELF. However, these are definitely not capable of transmitting voice, but are text-only.
Continuity mistake: The apple that Freddie is eating at the end goes from green to red.
Continuity mistake: When Hogan is by the truck, Newkirk responds to his question about packages. Crittendon has his swagger stick under his arm, then it's suddenly in front if him in his hands.
Is There a Doctor in the House? - S3-E18
Other mistake: As Carter gets ready to clean out the stove, Newkirk closes his eyes and winces just before the bellows Carter has blows.
An Evening of Generals - S3-E13
Continuity mistake: In Klink's office, the lower corner of the poster Hogan holds up alternates between being over the right side of his chest, to being tucked under, and back.
An Evening of Generals - S3-E13
Continuity mistake: In the barracks, after Hogan asks Newkirk about volunteering, the coffee cup Newkirk has is held with his left hand fingers in the handle. After the angle cut, the cup is in his hand with the handle toward the camera.
Visible crew/equipment: As Klink's car pulls up, and Klink comes around the front of it, the shadow of the camera is visible.
