Factual error: A revolver generally only holds six bullets, but 99's gun fires way more without reloading at any point.

Other mistake: At the Alledon Arms shootout scene, an agent sneaks behind Max and Max shoots him dead, but at the angle that Max fired, the bullet would have hit the concrete, not the man.
Revealing mistake: When Max, the Chief and 99 are going through the wreckage, Max picks up solid wood that's obviously polystyrene.
Continuity mistake: At the car wash, the KAOS man drives his car in and there are two people in it for some reason, but when he gets out, he's the only one there.
Revealing mistake: The lift for going in and out of the KAOS base is meant to be sturdy metal, but it wobbles like a prop when the KAOS agent drives off it.
Continuity mistake: During one scene in the fake plane going off, a KAOS thug standing in the background has a shadow that magically moves between shots.
Other mistake: During the scene in the prison cell, the first shot has a hair sticking to the bottom right of the screen the entire time.
Other mistake: In one of the car wash fight scenes, two men accidentally kill one another. According to the angle of one of the guns, you can kill someone without actually hitting them.
Continuity mistake: In one shot, both Max and the guy holding him at gunpoint are covered in soap suds, but the next shot shows that only Max is covered.
Plot hole: The scheme to lead a blindfolded Max and 99 to what they think is the airport via an illusion room would not work the way they do it. Since the base is underground, there is no way that what they did to represent ascending to ground level that would make a person think they were above ground.

Revealing mistake: In the final scene when Hymie is fighting Groppo, Hymie is a blatant stunt double in several shots, evidenced by the different shaped head of the double.
Plot hole: Doctor Yes' execution trap involves a booth flooding with water, drowning the occupant, and the water pushes a float upwards, eliminating another via a spinning blade. However, several times the float reaches the top of the booth, and the spinning blade doesn't kill anyone. There's also a breathing space at the top of the booth, so people couldn't drown in there.
Continuity mistake: When anybody dives into the lake, their wetsuits are black. But in the water, they are grey.

Revealing mistake: When Max is scaling the wall into the palace, in one shot he is a visible stunt double.

Visible crew/equipment: When the Turk is breaking into the palace, he pushes the window and it just swings open, since it is unlocked. However, you can see hands belonging to a crew member pulling the windows open to make way for the gag.
Revealing mistake: At the start, when Max falls off his police motor cycle, he is obviously a stunt double.
Visible crew/equipment: Lights are reflected in the aide's glasses when Max and 99 are talking to him on the ground.
Revealing mistake: When the Prime Minister's aide falls out of the car, he is a dummy.
