Continuity mistake: All shots of the Jeep Cherokee prior to it crashing (and during the process of flipping over) show that it wears factory-optional silver steel wheels of a 'star' style. But as the wreck settles upside-down, it's wearing plain steel wheels (like those found under full wheel covers or on a spare tire).
Plot hole: When John inserts Cameron's CPU, she restarts nearly instantly. She recognizes John right away and speaks to him by name. Yet seconds later, we see through her eyes as her system reports recognizing him, but she already does.
Revealing mistake: When Sarah and John leave the chapel after attempting to disable Cameron, they run across the road and almost get hit by a car. Watch Sarah's face in the close up shot: she's trying not to laugh and is somewhat smiling.
Revealing mistake: As Cameron flips over the Jeep Cherokee, the smoke coming from the bottom of it is from the cannon used to flip it, the cannon in later shots then disappears, more notably when the camera goes above the Jeep with Sarah crawling out.
Other mistake: Cameron breaks the door upon entering Jodi's house. When John arrives and subsequently leaves with Cameron, he closes the door shut and it closes normally as if it hadn't been broken.
Visible crew/equipment: When John and Derek arrive at the school, a crew member is visible in the car's right wing mirror. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: When John and Pyle are at the shooting range, John's protective glasses are up on his head when he fixes Pyle's gun, down on his face when he fires the gun, back up on his head after firing and then back down on his face when he gives the gun back to Pyle. They're then back on his head before taking them off before the scene ends. (00:13:45)
Visible crew/equipment: After Derek speaks with General Hobbs and meets John outside, the reflection of a crew member can be seen in the car's front grill. (00:19:15)
Continuity mistake: Season 2, Episode 5: "Goodbye To All That" - We see Marty Bedell playing on his Xbox 360 with a headset attached to his right ear. But when the T-888 arrives at his house to kill him and he goes to answer the door, the headset is gone. There was absolutely no time for Marty to remove the headset as the camera cuts too quickly.
Continuity mistake: At the range when the boy's gun jams, you can see tape on the bottom of the magazine. However, when John goes to clear the gun, the tape is missing.
Continuity mistake: On the firing range when John Connor fixes the stoppage on the rifle, his shooting glasses are on his head, when he hands the rifle back, the glasses are now over his eyes, and in the next shot they are on his head again. Not enough time has occurred between shots for this to happen.
Other mistake: When Sarah puts Marty on the bus on his way home he steps onto the first step and turns to face Sarah as the door closes and the bus departs. It is against the law in California for buses to begin moving until passengers are on the main deck of the bus (one step up from the boy). This law was enacted after a child fell from the entry step of the bus (exactly where Marty stood), the doors opened and they were run over by the bus. California operates a zero tolerance policy on this matter; drivers know that a single infraction will result in the loss of their commercial drivers license and is taken very seriously by all drivers, without a single infraction having been reported in years.
The Tower is Tall But the Fall is Short - S2-E6
Continuity mistake: When Derek and Jesse are talking in bed, the bed sheets covering Jessie keep changing colour between shots. Sometimes they're white, sometimes they're gold.
Mr. Ferguson is Ill Today - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: Throughout most of the episode, the repeated conversations seen in each character's stories are slightly different to each other: the way certain lines are delivered, the position of the actors, etc. These scenes were most likely re-filmed.
Mr. Ferguson is Ill Today - S2-E8
Revealing mistake: In Cameron's Story, in the scene with her and Derek, Derek's phone rings. When he looks at the screen it shows a telephone number and the words "EDIT" and "BACK" in the bottom corners. The phone is not in fact ringing at all. Derek is merely looking at the details of a contact saved on the phone.
Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point - S2-E10
Revealing mistake: When the body of Dr. Sherman is uncovered on the gurney, his eyelids flutter, then his eyeballs can be seen moving beneath his eyelids. (00:07:25)
Revealing mistake: When Catherine Weaver is killing all the employees of Desert Canyon Heat and Air in its warehouse, some of the employees fall to the ground with no signs of any entry wounds or blood on their bodies.
Revealing mistake: When Sarah breaks the window to distract the Police Deputy, the door that the Deputy kicks in opens before he kicks it.
Visible crew/equipment: At the beginning when Sarah, John, Cameron and Derek are driving past the dead cows, the shadow of a camera can be seen on the inside of the passenger door that Sarah is sitting in.
Continuity mistake: Season 2, Episode 18: "Today Is The Day, Part 1" - At the beginning of the episode, Jesse hasn't gotten rid of Riley's body yet but has somehow found the time to replace her living room table which was broken in the previous episode, "Ourselves Alone", whilst fighting with Riley.
Answer: It was cancelled due to declining ratings. Season Two had about half as many viewers as Season One.
