Days of Future Past: Part 2 - S1-E12

Continuity mistake: When Xavier's watch magnetically clings to his hoverchair, the body of the watch is pointing at 1 o'clock. In the next shot, it is pointing at 12 o'clock, the minute hand has advanced roughly 4 minutes, and the watch has also moved down the chair and to the right a few inches (note the contour lines on the chair as the visual cue). Days of Future Past: Part 1 - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When Wolverine is asking Bishop if he knows him from somewhere, his pupils have been drawn as small black circles inside a blue circle that are the same color as his eyes. Within the same shot, his small pupils suddenly become larger by filling in the rest of the blue circle, and then just as quickly go back to being small. (00:04:27)

Continuity mistake: When Bishop is holding out his ID card for the Sentinel to scan, the card is gray with a red stripe on top, a lighter gray stripe underneath it, and a white mark underneath that. When the shot changes, the entire card is the same shade of gray. Days of Future Past: Part 1 - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When Bishop peeks out of the alley after arriving in the past, there is a wrecked car on the right side of the screen, with a fire hydrant near its front bumper, on an uninterrupted sidewalk. When the shot changes to Bishop stepping out of the alley, the fire hydrant is now by the car's rear bumper, and there is a driveway leading into the alley. Additionally, the building that is behind Bishop changes color from red to green. (00:10:09)

Come the Apocalypse - S1-E10

Continuity mistake: When the cameraman drops his camera, it lands on the ground and rests on a rock so that the lens is at a slanted angle. When the shot changes to the camera's point of view, it shows Apocalypse right side up, when he should be slanted to correspond with the camera. (00:10:14)

Slave Island - S1-E7

Plot hole: After Storm's attempt to escape the Genoshan prison is thwarted, she ends up in the ocean right at the shoreline of the beach, where she is captured by a Sentinel. Aside from the fact that it makes no sense for a Sentinel to be hiding in the ocean in the event that a mutant tries to escape the prison, there is absolutely no way that a two-story tall robot could hide in the ocean right by the beach, as the water would be way too shallow. You can even see that the water level only goes up to the Sentinel's ankle area when it is standing upright in the ocean. (00:03:15)

Suggested correction: Perception. (1) The Sentinel isn't as close as it appears. If it were close, then she would have been caught in its waves as it emerges. Also, she would be looking only at its chest circle. It's several yards away. (2) She washes ashore. She fell from the sky. She couldn't have fallen from that great height into shallow water without hitting bottom. (3) It's also a two-story tall robot. Its weight would sink it into the sand. So it could have very well been down that deep.

DetectiveGadget85

Sentinel never sank into sand in other episodes.

Well, it's shown here.

Red Dawn - S2-E4

Question: Does anyone know what the Russian writing says on the wall behind Omega Red when he is standing at the podium and talking about the return of the Soviet Union? (00:15:08)

Phaneron

Chosen answer: It says MPO "First Exemplary Printing House" which is a real printing company in Russia founded by Ivan Dmitrievich Sytin in 1889. There seems to be something about "named after..." as well.
