Time Fugitives: Part 1 - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: When the quarantine sign is being stapled to the door, it is black and yellow striped, with an orange stripe running the opposite direction, and "Quarantine" written on the orange part. When the mob is trying to get into the building, the sign is now gray with a single yellowish-gray stripe running diagonally across it, and no writing. (00:10:14 - 00:10:44)

Time Fugitives: Part 1 - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: When Bishop is saying he was trying to save lives, the strap running through Gambit's jacket sleeve is colored blue, when it should be the same brown color as the rest of the jacket. His left hand is also bare, despite the fact that he had been showing his gloves throughout the scene. (00:12:37)

Time Fugitives: Part 1 - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: When Graydon Creed is testifying, the committee is seated at a table just a few feet behind him. When Beast takes the podium, Creed backs up several paces in line with the podium to almost nearly the wall. He couldn't get that close to the wall without stepping over the table. Continuity mistake: When Beast is saying "A viral weapon could be easily concealed," his right hand is raised, and you can see that his thumbnail isn't long. When he begins pressing buttons on the control panel a couple of shots later, his right thumbnail is now long. (00:16:34)

X-Ternally Yours - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: When Gambit is looking at himself in the mirror while wearing a tuxedo, you can see in his reflection that he is barehanded. In the next shot when he removes the tuxedo, he is wearing his usual black gloves. Also, the rose on the tuxedo goes from being on his right side (reflection's left) to being on his left side just before he removes the tuxedo. (00:13:15)

Slave Island - S1-E7

Plot hole: After Storm's attempt to escape the Genoshan prison is thwarted, she ends up in the ocean right at the shoreline of the beach, where she is captured by a Sentinel. Aside from the fact that it makes no sense for a Sentinel to be hiding in the ocean in the event that a mutant tries to escape the prison, there is absolutely no way that a two-story tall robot could hide in the ocean right by the beach, as the water would be way too shallow. You can even see that the water level only goes up to the Sentinel's ankle area when it is standing upright in the ocean. (00:03:15)

Suggested correction: Perception. (1) The Sentinel isn't as close as it appears. If it were close, then she would have been caught in its waves as it emerges. Also, she would be looking only at its chest circle. It's several yards away. (2) She washes ashore. She fell from the sky. She couldn't have fallen from that great height into shallow water without hitting bottom. (3) It's also a two-story tall robot. Its weight would sink it into the sand. So it could have very well been down that deep.

DetectiveGadget85

Sentinel never sank into sand in other episodes.

Well, it's shown here.

Answer: It appears a number of factors led to its demise. It was originally intended to air for 65 episodes, but its popularity extended that. However, there were continual production quality problems, issues regarding whether the content was suitable enough for children, as well as financial considerations that finally led to it being ended.
