Time Fugitives: Part 1 - S2-E7
Other mistake: When the Friends of Humanity member is going through pictures of the X-Men on his watch, Wolverine is shown to have blond hair.
Other mistake: When the Blob picks up the bucket of ice cream, he says "Oh boy, tutti frutti!", but the label on the bucket says "Vanilla." (00:03:50)
Other mistake: After Rogue knocks Gambit over, Gambit is in the foreground and Rogue is in the background. Despite this, the heel of Rogue's right boot appears in front of Gambit's left foot. (00:06:32)
Other mistake: During a flashback, Rogue is shown absorbing Pyro's mutant power and then creating fire out of thin air. However, Pyro does not have the ability to create fire, he can only control it. That's why he wears a flamethrower on the back of each hand.
Other mistake: When Jean is bringing a tray of food to Beast, the liquid in the glass is not oscillating. (00:09:38)
Mojovision - S2-E11
Other mistake: When Jean is trying to dodge Spiral's teleporting blast, she ends up tripping on a power cord running across the floor. An electronics store wouldn't have a power cord running across its floor for this very reason. They would be begging for a lawsuit if they did. Her foot is also closer to the wall in the first shot than in the second shot. (00:07:30)
Other mistake: When Xavier asks Magneto how much further they have to reach the top of the cliff, Magneto tells him he would rather not know, suggesting they still have a long way to go. However, in the wideshot of the sky-riders flying in to attack the two, you can see Magneto is about three times the length of his own body from the top, and according to the book "X-Men: The Art and Making of the Animated Series," Magneto is 6 feet tall. This means he is only about 20 feet, give or take, from the top, which isn't all that far in terms of climbing a cliff. (00:02:44)
Other mistake: After Magneto says "Trust me, you'd rather not know," a hole appears in his pants around his right hamstring and then quickly disappears. (00:02:50)
Other mistake: Ka-Zar refers to Xavier by name despite only having just met him and Xavier never telling him his name. He even asked Xavier who he was only moments before. (00:09:19 - 00:10:17)
Other mistake: When Magneto is asking how the Savage Land mutates were able to infiltrate his citadel, Amphibious tells him it's because Mr. Sinister long ago found his secret passage. The room they are in leads to a balcony, and has no door sealing off the balcony. In a world of superpowered beings, some of whom can fly, it wouldn't take much effort to get into a building that isn't closed off. Finding a secret passage from the ground level would be unnecessary. (00:15:00)
Other mistake: When Gambit is consoling Rogue just before she is taken to be tortured, he tells her that he loves her, and states that he has never said that to anyone before. But as we learned earlier in the season, Gambit was engaged in his youth to Bella Donna. Surely he told her he loved her at some point. Rogue is aware of this aspect of Gambit's past, so he would have nothing to gain by lying to her about it.
Other mistake: When Wolverine is leaving to find Yuriko and Jubilee offers to tag along, the camera is fluttering in and out of focus for a few seconds. (00:07:01)
Other mistake: When Wolverine first enters the subway, there are two tracks, and there is a train moving away from the camera on the track closest to the platform. When Gambit and Jubilee enter the same area moments later, there is now a train on the same set of tracks, but moving towards the camera. (00:07:38 - 00:08:07)
The Phoenix Saga (1): Sacrifice - S3-E3
Other mistake: When Dr. Corbeau opens the door to the locker room, Cyclops, Jean Grey and Wolverine are in his direct line of sight. Despite this, it isn't until he takes several steps into the room that he realises they aren't his shuttle crew. (00:08:35)
The Phoenix Saga (2): The Dark Shroud - S3-E4
Other mistake: After the shuttle crashes into the Upper New York Bay, the X-Men escape the wreckage and swim up to the surface, with Wolverine being the first one to appear. Given that Wolverine's skeleton is coated with a heavy metal, not only should he not be the first one to surface, he should actually sink instead. (00:04:06)
The Phoenix Saga (3): Cry of the Banshee - S3-E5
Other mistake: When the text depicting the episode name appears on screen after the opening credits, it says "The Phoenix Saga Part 2, The Cry of the Banshee." It should read "The Phoenix Saga Part 3, The Cry of the Banshee." Note: this mistake may only apply to the DVD version of the episode. The episode that appears on Disney+ correctly depicts it as "Part III." (00:02:20)
The Phoenix Saga (3): Cry of the Banshee - S3-E5
Other mistake: When Xavier is telling Moira about how he and Lilandra were attacked, Moira dismisses his claim, reasoning that he came to her for help because he could no longer trust his own mind, and that no-one else had been in his room. She witnessed him flying out of a window, and he's a paraplegic. Unless she thinks he somehow catapulted himself out the window, she shouldn't have been so dismissive of his claim. Not to mention the damage to the room, including the bed being thrown against the TV. (00:05:21)
The Phoenix Saga (4): The Starjammers - S3-E6
Other mistake: When Captain Britain is shown flying by the Elizabeth Tower, the two clocks visible are displaying different times. The clock on the left is showing roughly 12:10, while the clock on the right is showing 12:00. (00:04:50)
The Phoenix Saga (4): The Starjammers - S3-E6
Other mistake: When Gambit is tossing playing cards in Lilandra's helmet, he is shown tossing four cards. All four cards are the exact same card (the ace of spades). (00:13:30)
The Phoenix Saga (4): The Starjammers - S3-E6
Other mistake: When D'Ken is saying "Destroy them all," he is speaking with a German accent. (00:17:09)
Answer: It appears a number of factors led to its demise. It was originally intended to air for 65 episodes, but its popularity extended that. However, there were continual production quality problems, issues regarding whether the content was suitable enough for children, as well as financial considerations that finally led to it being ended.
