Other mistake: When Rogue begins flying towards Cable after disarming him, she is only about 30 feet away from him. As she is flying towards him, he takes the time to pull a plasma grenade from his belt, pull out the pin with his mouth, and then throw it at her. In the time it took him to do all of that and given the speed at which Rogue was flying towards him, she should reach him well before he could throw the grenade at her. (00:18:05)
Other mistake: When the Lady Gardener touches the flower on her table, it instantly dies, which elicits a shocked reaction from her. This show establishes that mutant powers begin to manifest during puberty, and this character is middle-aged. A character that has been living with their powers for that long shouldn't be shocked at what her powers do. (00:03:56)
Other mistake: When the tank falls through the hole in the bridge, the tank's occupants are impossibly shown to be clinging to the edge of the hole at the same time the tank is going over the edge, as if the tank and the occupants were occupying the same space. (00:09:40)
Other mistake: After Gambit explodes the statue that was about to fall on Wolverine, there is no debris shown to be flying around them even though the statue was collapsing towards them. (00:16:30)
Days of Future Past: Part 2 - S1-E12
Other mistake: Wolverine is around 5'3", but when Forge is viewing his skeleton in the tube at the end of the episode, the skeleton appears to be at least seven feet tall.
Other mistake: When Magneto is watching the X-Men depart to rescue Senator Kelly, his cape can be seen swaying in the wind, but not his hair. (00:11:20)
'Til Death Do Us Part: Part 1 - S2-E1
Other mistake: When Gambit is attempting to kiss Rogue at the wedding, the man standing over Gambit's right shoulder has no face. (00:04:03)
'Til Death Do Us Part: Part 1 - S2-E1
Other mistake: When Morph, disguised as the reverend, is saying goodbye to Cyclops, the characters in the background never move a muscle. (00:04:10)
'Til Death Do Us Part: Part 1 - S2-E1
Other mistake: When Wolverine, Gambit and Beast are battling members of the Friends of Humanity, Wolverine slices through the gun of one of their members. From the angle Wolverine is standing respective to the F.O.H. member, he could not have possibly sliced through the gun without also slicing off the man's left hand. (00:12:00)
'Til Death Do Us Part: Part 2 - S2-E2
Other mistake: The show establishes that Jubilee is Chinese-American, but after she accidentally blasts Wolverine, the way she pronounces "Sorry" is the way the word is typically pronounced by Canadians (most of the show's voice cast, including the actress who voiced Jubilee, are Canadian). (00:11:00)
'Til Death Do Us Part: Part 2 - S2-E2
Other mistake: When Mr. Sinister and the Nasty Boys are fleeing from the X-Men, their plane takes off a split-second after they have all disappeared into the treeline. (00:19:10)
Other mistake: Julianne Klemm, the writer for this episode, has her first name misspelled in the opening credits as "Julaianne." (00:02:07)
Other mistake: When Rogue drops the mug of coffee onto the floor, you can see that the coffee touches her boot, yet her boot does not get any stains on it. (00:04:05)
Other mistake: When Gambit is wiping sweat off his forehead, the locks of hair that he is rubbing his fist against do not move. (00:05:20)
Other mistake: When Bella Donna's henchman is letting Bobby go, he is shown to be walking over to Bobby empty-handed. After he unties Bobby, the tithe box has magically appeared in his hands. (00:11:10)
Other mistake: When Wolverine is threatening Pierre, there is a continuous shot lasting roughly 8 seconds in which Bobby is telling Rogue about Bella Donna, all the while Wolverine and Pierre remain in the foreground, and neither of them so much as moves a muscle in that 8-second span. Rogue also remains motionless for a majority of the shot. (00:13:35)
Other mistake: When Gambit pushes Bella Donna down, the wedding veil that she was wearing comes to a stop in midair. (00:14:25)
Other mistake: When Wolverine, Rogue and Jean Grey are falling down the hole, they are all falling at the same rate, yet Wolverine lands a couple seconds after the other two. If anything, he should have landed first because he weighs more than them, especially since his bones are coated with metal, and Rogue and Jean Grey are shown to be slowing their falls by using their flight and telekinetic powers respectively. Wolverine also appears to land a couple feet in front of the hole.
Other mistake: When Bella Donna is saying that Gambit was wise to leave the Thieves Guild, there is a black horizontal line on Gambit's right cheek that disappears and reappears in sync with his blinking.
Answer: It appears a number of factors led to its demise. It was originally intended to air for 65 episodes, but its popularity extended that. However, there were continual production quality problems, issues regarding whether the content was suitable enough for children, as well as financial considerations that finally led to it being ended.
