How I Met Your Mother

Bad News - S6-E13

Trivia: Throughout the entire episode Bad News (Season 6, Episode 13), there's a number in every scene. These numbers are a countdown for the news that Marshall will get at the very end of the episode.

Blitzgiving - S6-E10

Trivia: During this episode we see a character called 'Blitz' who is played by Jorge Garcia. Jorge played the character Hurley on Lost. In the flashback of the events when Ted left the bar, Marshall asks everyone to shout out some random numbers. Jorge shouts out the numbers: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. The exact same numbers that are a key point of Lost and the numbers Hurley played to win the lottery.

Big Days - S6-E1

Trivia: As pointed out by an earlier contributor, the title of the book the girl at the bar is reading changes when Barney and Ted call dibs on her. But the picture shows the title as being "Brideshead Revisted"; "visited" is misspelled.

Suggested correction: Depending on the location settings on his laptop, they could be giving a false reading. My laptop shows I'm in Cardiff Wales while in fact I'm nowhere near.

The show was actually filmed on a film set in Los Angeles which is probably why the laptop says Los Angeles as the current location. This most probably slipped past the editing crew.

Answer: After running the marathon for Marshall with no training, he's allowed to ride the subway for free. While sat on the train, the muscles in his legs start to seize up after the marathon to the point it is painful to move his legs. This is why he can't move them. It's the same reason your body aches after a good session at the gym the day before.

Answer: Barney ran a marathon without any training and over exerted his muscles. While he was able to walk after, later his leg muscles gave out and he couldn't move (or more likely stand). It is not uncommon when one works out too much to be sore the next day, even if they feel okay afterwards. Thus the saying "I'll feel that in the morning."
