Corrected entry: Cindy's claim that there is a policy against faculty and students dating is right, but according to the website of Columbia university it doesn't apply to a relationship between Ted and her. Excerpt from the policy on consensual romantic and sexual relationships between Faculty and Students of Columbia University: "It is the policy of the University that no faculty member shall have a consensual romantic or sexual relationship with a student over whom he or she exercises academic or professional authority."
How I Met Your Mother (2005)
1 corrected entry in season 5
Starring: Jason Segel, Neil Patrick Harris, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan, Josh Radnor
Continuity mistake: Lily and Marshall mention that they've been using the same toothbrush ever since they've been together, but in the 14th episode of the 1st season, "Zip, Zip, Zip", Marshall and Lily are simultaneously brushing their teeth with a tooth brush each (before Ted and Victoria get home). (00:05:05)
Suggested correction: Many people buy another toothbrush to take on trips and since they were supposed to be going away, they probably decided to use them at home, as if this was their trip.
Barney: It's gonna be legen...wait for it...dary!
Question: Has the mother been cast yet? Also, does the film crew know who the mother is already?
Chosen answer: She was finally shown at the very end of the last episode of season 8, continuing into season 9. The actor's name is Cristin Milioti: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2129662/.

Correction: Ted actually points out to Cindy that because he is not her professor there's no real issue, but Cindy still shoots him down. Presumably it's because Cindy is actually attracted to women (which the audience won't find out until later), but can't actually admit it to herself and instead looks for excuses to sabotage her relationships with men.
