Anonymous - S10-E12

Other mistake: When Hotch, Morgan and JJ review the footage from the first murder, they are able to zoom extremely close on the victim's hand. Why don't they do the same with the car license plate as the killer leaves? (00:21:45)

Beyond Borders - S10-E19

Factual error: Rossi recognizes a "typical Dutch gesture" The suspect hits his forehead with his hand and then moves it towards another person, saying that the person is "crazy" This gesture is German. In the Netherlands we use a different gesture. We point to our forehead with our index finger and then point at the person we think is crazy, with that same finger.

Protection - S10-E22

Continuity mistake: When JJ picks up Lizette Castro in her car to take her to her son, JJ gets Lizette to confess about the man in the pictures. We see JJ stop the car outside In the Dark by some trees before a flashback plays. After the flashback, it looks like the car is in some sort of parking house. (00:14:16 - 00:15:16)

Protection - S10-E22

Continuity mistake: The old lady victim under the bridge has a change in clothes. When the shooting happens she is wearing a red jumper and what looks like flowery red top, when the team arrives at the crime scene she is wearing a grey jumper and a white polka dot top. (00:15:54 - 00:26:30)

Suggested correction: The change of clothes happens in every crime scene/flashback to show us the killer's delusion. If you pay attention, it happens with the girl whose boyfriend gets killed and also with the cop/mailman.

Protection - S10-E22

Continuity mistake: In the final stand off, Daniel fires 16 rounds through the door/wall at the team. We've already been told his gun only holds 14 bullets. Not to mention without reloading he fires a few more bullets shortly afterwards.

Target Rich - S11-E7

Character mistake: When the unsub puts the lock on the woman's collar, he hooks it onto the part where a leash would go. She could easily take the collar off. Later, the lock is on a different hook that is pushed through the collar, so she would not be able to escape. (00:19:10 - 00:33:30)

Hostage - S11-E14

Factual error: Violet is seen wearing Hood style flip-flops where there is a denim like covering just beyond the sandal straps, but this scene takes place in 2001, 12 years before those shoes were available.

Suggested correction: It actually looks like she is wearing wide leg jeans which cover her feet and shoes giving that illusion.

The Sandman - S11-E17

Continuity mistake: After Garcia traces the phone call, Morgan and Rossi are shown driving to the area of the cell tower. When the shot is from outside the car, the car is a 10th generation (07-14) Chevy Suburban. When the shot changes to inside the car, it's an 11th gen (15-16).

Tribute - S11-E19

Audio problem: Garcia is typing on a flat, foldable rubber keyboard but the keys' sound is loud like from a plastic keyboard. The rubber keyboard shouldn't make noise. (00:39:00)

Tribute - S11-E19

Other mistake: A mugshot of a suspect is showing with some personal information. Name, license number, address, etc. The field for "Home address" shows a valid address but "Work Address" shows "Male." The correct field title should be "Sex." (00:40:00)

Tribute - S11-E19

Other mistake: There is a mugshot of a 35 year old suspect on Garcia's computer. According to what she is saying, the suspect's mother died 10 years ago. A photo shows her with the suspect and he looks exactly the same age as he does now. (00:40:00)

Tribute - S11-E19

Continuity mistake: After Emily shoots the unsub in the head and he falls on the bed, the gun falls beside him. A second later they show her walking over to his body to remove the gun from his hand. (00:51:00)

Suggested correction: Rossi is talking about the next victim after the girl.

Taboo - S12-E3

Factual error: Agents are staking out a suspect in Boynton Beach, Florida. A truck approaches and they can see the license plate on the front of it. There are no front license plates in Florida. Only rear.

Mirror Image - S12-E7

Continuity mistake: In the episode the team is discussing the unsub. He was a man who believed he was Tara's brother. They do not know his name yet. JJ says "He must have put Gabriel's whole life inside of Desmond". Only later does Garcia find out the unsub's name is Desmond Holt. (00:15:22 - 00:18:20)

Extreme Aggressor - S1-E1

Agent Hotchner: This is Special Agent Dr. Reid.
Man: You look too young to have gone to medical school.
Agent Reid: They are PhD's. Three of them.
Man: What, are you a genius or something?
Agent Reid: I don't believe that intelligence can be accurately quantified, but I do have an IQ of 187, an eidetic memory, can read 20,000 words per minute...yes, I'm a genius.

Show generally

Question: The crew takes a private jet to most locations but always have the same black S.U.V.s. How do the vehicles get there as fast as the crew?

RGW

Chosen answer: Black SUVs are common police, military and dignitary vehicles around the world. It is not too much to assume they could be rented or owned by the police forces in the areas.

kristenlouise3

Other people have explained it but fore more information, federal cars would most likely be brought to the airport from the nearest agency, so they can drive out to their locations especially in rural situations.

Answer: There is only one BAU (or that's the impression the show gives, in reality there's 5 teams within the BAU), and they're based out of Quantico. However, the FBI has 56 field offices, each with their own vehicles leased from the over 200,000 vehicles that make up the Federal motor fleet. There are long term leases to federal agencies on these cars, in addition to there always being vehicles being made available to lease on an ad hoc basis for assignments. Plus, local and state police likely also have their own unmarked fleets, but due to the vehicles being mostly the same make/model/color in most episodes, they'd likely be borrowed from the nearest field office or other local federal office or ad hoc leased from the fleet for the assignment.
