Continuity mistake: The pill bottle the agents recovered from the house has the Doctor's name "Fleming" to search for. But when McGee searches the NCIS system, he spells the name "Flemming" and gets his results. As well, the scrip sheets for Dr. Flemming archived on the computer, contain several identification numbers - DEA (AJ0000000000), Batch (00000001) & License (C00000.) - not real numbers - so the prop master didn't even try to fake any of them. Continuity mistake: When Vance is packing up to leave at the end of the episode, he opens a red folder on his desk. When Jenny enters the office a moment later, the folder is instantly on top of Vance's briefcase. (00:41:45)
Continuity mistake: In one scene, Tony observes that Ziva never uses contractions when she talks, and Ziva even seems confused as to what they are. But in previous episodes, Ziva not only knows what contractions are, but uses them frequently.

Continuity mistake: When Abby is first discussing the victim's blood types, there is a shot from behind her that shows a black band wrapped around her upper left thigh about an inch below the hem of her skirt. The shot changes to a front view and the black band is gone.
Continuity mistake: While Franks and Gibbs are talking in the diner, Franks' hair goes from being swept back to hanging over his forehead throughout the scene.
