Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Revealing mistake: When Batman bursts out from the mammoth, one of the 'unconscious' extras changes position reacting to the practical effect. (00:20:45)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: After Riddler bursts through the vent, the position and arm movements of Aunt Harriet are inconsistent between shots. (00:18:45)
Continuity mistake: Alfred is removing the tray from the table, and Dick leans against the fireplace; between shots, Burt Ward is holding the glass at different heights (look at the mantel decorations). (00:12:45)
Other mistake: The photo of Riddler's arrest shown in the news has the same angle as what we saw, which is the polar opposite side of the corridor Riddler's hired photographers came from. (00:10:10 - 00:12:10)
Continuity mistake: When Riddler hands Batman the lawsuit, he is holding the parchment either one or two handed. Robin also goes from being on his knees to standing, head well above Batman's. (00:11:30)
Continuity mistake: Dick waves the lawsuit in front of Bruce telling him it might contain the other 2 clues, prompting a "Great Scott." He is holding it with hist right hand, then the left. (00:13:50)
Continuity mistake: When Robin moves away from the window of the art gallery, the shadow he casts is completely different between shots. (00:09:00)
The Penguin's a Jinx (2) - S1-E4
Visible crew/equipment: As Mr. Jay is talking to Bruce and Dick, on the wall behind Dick you can see the shadow of the boom mic. (00:23:45)
Revealing mistake: As the Batmobile exits the Batcave, if you watch the exit closely, you see the shadow of the back end of the car come to a stop, meaning that it was at the wall of the set. (00:05:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When the photographer is getting a picture of the princess, you can see the shadow of the boom mic on him.
The Pharaoh's in a Rut (2) - S1-E28
Revealing mistake: When Bruce Wayne is strapped to the stretcher hurtling toward the cliff, after he breaks through the "300 Ft. Drop" sign, we cut to a different angle where the wire pulling the stretcher is visible. (00:02:40)
Factual error: When Bruce, Dick, and Aunt Harriet are looking at the globe, Bruce corrects Dick's mistake about Lima being the capitol of Ecuador and says "No, as you can see, I was right. It's the capitol of Peru." and points to the globe to show him. Based on the position of Europe facing the camera, he's actually pointing to somewhere in northern Canada. (00:02:35)
Continuity mistake: Batman's utility belt is normal in the beginning, but suddenly has a triple sized compartment when Batman goes to get up on the catwalk with his rope. (00:03:30)
The Thirteenth Hat (1) - S1-E13
Visible crew/equipment: As Gordon goes to the Batphone to alert Batman, the shadow of the camera covers most of him for about a full three to four seconds.
The Bookworm Turns (1) - S1-E29
Revealing mistake: At about the 6:40 mark into the episode, The Bookworm puts an explosive device in the Batmobile which is detected automatically. Batman pushes the auto eject to throw it out of the car. As the special effects prop explodes, you can see the rope it is hanging from as it swings to the side.
He Meets His Match, the Grisly Ghoul (2) - S1-E16
Other mistake: During the opening scene, right after Cesar Romero's guest star, Joker and Susie's faces freeze for a moment.
Batman Stands Pat (2) - S1-E14
Other mistake: When Batman drop-kicks Mad Hatter into the vat of acid at the end of the fight, he does not have even one burn mark when he was pulled out.
Other mistake: During the final fight scene between the SOCK and POW, Mr. Freeze can be seen in the 76-degree heated section.
Other mistake: While Batman and Robin are pursuing False Face, they stop the Batmobile beside a fence (across from "Bioscope"), and a sign that states "No Trespassing, Desilu Studios" (the show's studio location) is mounted on that fence. (00:15:00)
Continuity mistake: Everytime the Joker is shown on TV his hair is brown, but before and after the broadcasts, it's his usual green with no time for him to change it.
Answer: There were three well-known actors who played Mr. Freeze, each one a different height, weight, and physique. As these were notable guest stars, the costume designers would adapt the costume to best fit each actor who likely would want to avoid comparisons to the other Mr. Freezes, incorporate their preferences, as well as refresh the look, rework whatever didn't work in previous versions, and so on.
