Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Molly is about to disguise herself as Robin. But the wig she's holding isn't even remotely the same color as Robin's hair. Of course, as soon as she puts it on and transforms herself, the wig darkens and becomes Robin's actual hair. (00:05:45)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Deliberate mistake: Ignoring that its very unlikely all of Jill St. John's copious red hair would fit under a wig that passes for Robin's hair, it's impossible that it would emerge from under that wig looking as full and perfectly styled as it does when she's in the Batcave.
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Just after the Joker tells the fake Robin to turn on her homing beacon, a quick shot of the Batmobile approaching shows it isn't glossy black with cherise red trim as normal, but is instead flat black with white trim. This footage was from pre-series testing, painting the car different ways to see how it would look best on film, but somehow this footage was actually used in the episode by mistake. (00:06:20)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Revealing mistake: While Riddler is with the unconscious guests at the Moldavian exhibit, in the basement of the Moldavian Pavilion the Mole Hill gang blow up the ceiling to create an entry to the exhibit, on the floor above. They lean two tall ladders at the side of the hole and climb up. When Riddler makes for an escape Batman follows him down below, and now we can see long metal brackets bolting the ladders to the floor for safety. (00:20:20 - 00:22:00)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: When Fake Robin takes Riddler's wheel to drive, the shot cuts to the Batmobile. It appears that Robin is a passenger, but he is supposed to be Riddler's prison service.
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Factual error: The mammoth is filled, according to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldavia, with "used postage stamps from ancient kingdom of Moldavia." Postage stamps are a 19th century invention, not something an 'ancient kingdom' would have used. (00:17:20)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: During the fight, the breather Batman has disappears, but suddenly returns afterwards. (00:21:50)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Revealing mistake: After Batman tosses his Batarang up to get to Molly, the lifting wire attached to him is plainly visible.
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: After the Garbo joke, the various extras begin to pass out from the gas with multiple inconsistencies between shots. In the shot that follows the joke, the woman with the red and black dress is fainting, but she's back up in the next, in which the policeman goes down, only to be up in the one later, etc. (00:19:35)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Revealing mistake: Batman tosses the Batarang at Riddler after bursting through the door and yelling "Surrender, you rat." Such is Adam West's physical prowess and the strength he puts in the athletic gesture, that the mere touch of his foot moves the heavy cement block lying on the floor. That or it's made of plastic (same one he picks up later in the scene tossing it at the 'bulletproof glass'). (00:14:30)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Riddler wakes Robin up, and the Boy Wonder does not waste time in his tongue lashing. During the scene, the lighting on set is very noticeably different; with the camera positioned between the two, Frank Gorshin's jaw casts a shadow; with the camera behind Burt Ward, it's him casting a big shadow on the green unitard. (00:03:40)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Riddler sedates again Robin with the "B" spray. He puts his own mask back on, and on the table the spray can is turned with the letter facing away from the camera. Riddler takes a peek at the unconscious Robin, and in the next shot both sprays have their letters properly showing, only to be hidden again when the same camera angle as before is used again. (00:05:55)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Revealing mistake: Of all the possible mistakes related to the Robin mask Molly supposedly wears, the one that really could have been avoided was the fact that the camera does not cut away from Burt Ward while he is in the middle of the gesture of turning around and 'ripping away the mask', but only after he's done it, so you can tell nothing came off, nothing moves in his hair, let alone the face itself. (00:10:25)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Batman, after losing his breather between an "Urkkk!" and a "Zok!" chases down a goon that is making a run for it going for the window. Two other minions are following Batman, but their motion repeats in the next shot, when it's "Zzzzzwap!" time. (00:22:00)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Elephant-man Riddler is the one man left standing in the room. The problem is, he is standing with one hand on his hip, which becomes a totally different pose at the cut, with the arm chest-high and his finger pointing down. (00:19:55)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: During the bait pursuit, Riddler tells Molly-Robin to hold the wheel for him as he puts his helmet on. The Batmobile in pursuit is featured in recycled footage, since both Batman and Robin are in it. (00:08:10)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Factual error: Nitrous oxide is not flammable. Not to mention, if it were, Riddler would have risked blowing everything up when he shot the gun in the room saturated with it just to give his henchmen the signal.
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Riddler stares at Batman and Robin popping out of the stuffed animal; in the wide shot he has a (delayed, really) reaction opening up his hand, which becomes a closed fist in the next angle. (00:20:50)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: The Prime Minister is talking about the stuffing of the mammoth; in the wide shot a couple is approaching, turning round the beast. In the closer angle, they are already behind him. (00:17:10)
Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: After wu-xia style jump on the Batmobile reactor, Batman tells the girl "Wait, Molly." In the close-up there's no rope, but before and after there's still the batarang rope visible by him. (00:11:35)
Answer: There were three well-known actors who played Mr. Freeze, each one a different height, weight, and physique. As these were notable guest stars, the costume designers would adapt the costume to best fit each actor who likely would want to avoid comparisons to the other Mr. Freezes, incorporate their preferences, as well as refresh the look, rework whatever didn't work in previous versions, and so on.
