Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1

Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: The stacks of yellow craft blocks that Marcy is carving with her knife change both positions and quantity between shots. (00:20:00)
Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: Near the end, when Ringel pulls a gun on Monk and Marcy, he reaches over and closes the venetian blinds. There's no gap in the shuttered blinds when he walks away from the window. Then there is. Then there isn't again. (00:34:30)
Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: Ringel closes the blinds, then turns and walks away from the window. After a brief shot of Monk and Marcy, Ringel turns and walks away from the same window again. (00:34:40)
Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: In the lumber yard, Randy shows a rare streak of genius by knocking out the bad guy with a 2x4 shoved through a stack of boards. When the 2x4 strikes Ringel, it stops its slide protruding about six inches from the stack. When the camera angle changes for the very next shot, the 2x4 is suddenly sticking out more than a foot. (00:39:30)
Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: When the Captain is approaching the killer, a piece of wood is protruding from the cart. After a cut, that wood suddenly disappears. The cart has also inexplicably shifted to be much closer to the killer. (00:40:00)
Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1
Plot hole: It's out of character for Monk, a chronic stickler for details, not to correct an error, especially one relating to his own life. Marcy's diorama for "Mr. Monk & the Three Pies" includes Natalie, who wasn't around yet when "Three Pies" occurred. The doll should be of Sharona, but since that would ruin the ensuing joke, Monk is allowed to overlook it. He's aware of Marcy's unreasoning obsessions, but Monk's OCD would simply not permit him to keep quiet about a mistake that glaring.
Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: When the lady that just "bought" Randy gives him his shirt you can see from behind that he closes one button of his shirt. But in the next shot 2 seconds later there are at least 5 buttons closed already.
Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: When Randy is playing "Timber", we see a close up shot of the boy taking out a middle piece and there's no other middle pieces removed. But in the next shot, you can see 2 middle pieces gone.
Mr. Monk and the Rapper - S6-E2
Factual error: Extra Large was killed Sunday morning of Daylight Saving's Day. But the paper they show Monk is dated Friday, May 4, 2007. But Daylight Saving was March 11, 2007.
Mr. Monk and the Rapper - S6-E2
Continuity mistake: After Monk tries to get out of the contract with Murderuss, he walks to Stottlemeyer with jewel necklaces around his neck. In the next shot (after Stottlemeyer asks "How did that happen?"), the necklaces have disappeared. (The golden teeth stay, though).
Mr. Monk and the Rapper - S6-E2
Continuity mistake: When Murderuss introduces Snake, we see Monk turn to shake his hand and the briefcase on the table is closed. But in the next shot, it's opened.
Mr. Monk and the Naked Man - S6-E3
Continuity mistake: While Monk and co. question Vicky's roommate, two throw pillows behind her on the couch shift their orientations several times from shot to shot. The larger one also moves from the couch corner to a spot behind the woman's left arm and then back again. (00:14:00)
Mr. Monk and the Naked Man - S6-E3
Continuity mistake: A little white pillow on Natalie's couch falls over when Monk gets up, then rights itself again when he's in the kitchen. (00:31:15)
Mr. Monk and the Naked Man - S6-E3
Plot hole: SPOILER Arlene Boras swaps Peter Magneri's MRI scans for those of a healthy person in order to hide the fact that he has a potentially lethal aortic aneurysm. Clearly visible on the MRI scans she is holding are the dates and times of the examination - and the name of the patient. Swapping the records is pointless.
Mr. Monk and the Naked Man - S6-E3
Character mistake: SPOILER. Arlene Boras murders Vicki Deline in order to stop her telling Peter Magneri that he has an aortic aneurysm. Boras wants Magneri dead to clean up by short selling the stock in his company. Boras is a medical professional, and she would know that an aneurysm can burst if the patient is under stress or is shocked in some way. Allowing Deline to tell Magneri that he is in danger of dropping dead on the spot would kill him, which is exactly what she wants.
Mr. Monk and the Naked Man - S6-E3
Factual error: While the police are investigating the murder at the start of the episode, the police make numerous mistakes with the crime scene. First there is no sheet over the body and/or tent to cover the body. Being they are on a beach it would make sense to cover the body from any debris or sand disturbing the body. Second, the sun is shining brightly would not help with preserving the body for the coroner. Finally why have the police only cordoned off a small area around the body. Being a crime scene and potential evidence could be found it makes little sense why they wouldn't cordon off the beach or most of it from the public.
Mr. Monk and the Naked Man - S6-E3
Character mistake: SPOILER ALERT Monk accuses Arlene Boras of swapping Peter Magneri's X-rays in order to hide the fact that he has a potentially lethal aortic aneurysm. We see Magneri being examined and we see Boras handling his records, and they are not X-rays. Magneri was examined in an MRI scanner and Boras swaps the MRI scans - not X-rays.
Mr. Monk and the Bad Girlfriend - S6-E4
Continuity mistake: In the first shot, when the captain is chatting on the computer and Monk is looking at him through the glass, the webcam we see is white and round. In the next scene, when Monk goes into the captain's office, the webcam is now gray and square.
Answer: The two men are trying to work out a secret deal between them without involving the union, which means the workers' interests aren't being represented and defeats the whole purpose of a union. The mayor would lose labor's support and Cusack's union troubles would just be starting.
