Continuity mistake: When Bulk and Skull are waiting out the appearance of the Rangers, Bulk's kneepads are just below his knees. When he goes to grab Skull (after the explosion), they are around his ankles. When they arrive at the explosion scene, they are on his knees.
Revealing mistake: Certain monsters in Zord battles were designed for the first series. This is so Saban could use Japanese footage of ground fights, to save on shooting their own (As the costumes from series 1 carried over into series 2). Sometimes, you can see the Megazord, and Dragonzord, getting attacked (you may need to pause it). It should be the Thunderzord, or Tigerzord.
Other mistake: When Tommy is ambushed by the putties, he kicks one which explodes despite the fact that the Z on the puttie's chest never glowed white like they always have in previous episodes.
Plot hole: The Power Rangers very often talk to the citizens of Angel Grove. However, their voices aren't disguised in any way, so why don't people recognise their voices?
Continuity mistake: At the start we see Billy taking a karate class taught by Jason. In this shot you can the Rangers are wearing their communicators despite Billy having not created them yet. (00:04:30)
Revealing mistake: At the very start you can see a rod at the back of the "cake o matic" making the machine wobble. (00:00:05)
Continuity mistake: In this episode there are a few shots of Goldar with wings. However it is explained in season 2 by Lord Zed that Rita denies Goldar his wings, as Zed gives Goldar his wings back.
Continuity mistake: Bulk throws some papers in the air in his audition. However a lot more papers fall than were thrown. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: As Kim starts talking to Tommy she has 2 folders in her arms. One pink, one black. When she goes to show Tommy something from her folder, the black one disappears. (00:04:30)
Audio problem: At the start, Kimberly says "Oh no, an earthquake" however, her mouth doesn't match her words. (00:02:30)
Character mistake: Zordon begins to explain to the Rangers about their powers and then their Zords. At one point, he says "You need only to turn to the power of your Dino Zords." However, the subtitles get it wrong and spell it as if he's saying "Dinosaurs" instead of Dino Zords which is what he says. (00:10:38)
Audio problem: During the whole scene of the guys leaving the command centre and saying they shouldn't have left, the audio is overdubbed. (00:12:00)
Master Vile and the Metallic Armor (2) - S3-E29
Continuity mistake: Pink Ranger is suppose to be in Lord Zedd's palace, but after Yellow Ranger says "hope Kat and Tommy are all right" she can be seen in the back.
Zedd Waves - S2-E26
Other mistake: After the shot changes from Zedd yelling at Goldar to Tommy, Kim, and Billy in the park, for a brief second, you can see the three actors were standing and waiting for the cue to begin walking; most noticeably with Tommy who puts a little jump into his first step from standing.
Master Vile and the Metallic Armor (1) - S3-E28
Continuity mistake: When the Rangers are riding horses Billy's shirt changes from a dark blue tank top to a blue striped T-shirt and back.
Audio problem: When Tommy is fighting the last putty before Goldar transports him, there is a contact noise made as he rolls over the putty's back; no hit was made on that manoeuvre.
For Whom the Bell Trolls - S1-E9
Visible crew/equipment: During the big fight at the end between Ticklesneezer and Megazord you can see a child crouching down next to Megazord at one point. It's hard to miss, bottom right of the screen, and he's wearing green clothing. This is due to the original sentai footage featuring the oversized child in the megazord battle and the Americanized version not editing them out. (00:16:55)
Big Sisters - S1-E7
Visible crew/equipment: When Maria gets down off the Megazord's hand to get into the Rad Bug you can see a driver in the front seat despite the fact that it's supposed to be empty and being controlled remotely. (00:15:21)
Suggested correction: The entirety of Angel Grove doesn't know them personally. Also that is the power of voice over. You would never sound that clear while wearing a tight helmet that covers your mouth.
DetectiveGadget85
So what about when they talk to recurring characters such as the guy who works the bar at the youth centre (can't think of his name off the top of my head).

Haha. It is a bit like standard suspension of disbelief and a common mistake to most superhero TV/movies/comic books even, but I very much agree that there is no real way to make a rational and logical explanation for it. They do meet recurring characters a lot, plus, I mean...they all hang out together, some of them wearing also clothing patterned with a dominance of their trademark ranger colors and that makes the fact that they are a group even more conspicuous.
Sammo ★
They all wear clothing dominated by the colour of their persona. Plus the fact that they are never around when the rangers are around.
