The Short, Happy Circuit of Aunt Clara - S3-E9
Continuity mistake: When Clara is sitting on the couch, when Ocky comes, the green pillow behind her changes position between shots. It's lying flatter more toward the middle, then moves to more upright against the arm of the couch.
The Short, Happy Circuit of Aunt Clara - S3-E9
Continuity mistake: The piano that was in the living room (when Clara zaps it/reduces it/blunders/returns to original size) is gone when Darrin, Samantha, Larry and boozing client return to the house shortly afterwards.
Continuity mistake: When Aunt Clara is in the kitchen with Tabitha, when Tabitha knocks off her plate then the unicorn, there is nothing on her high chair tray. When Tabitha twitches the pot and spoon over, there's suddenly a Graham Cracker on her tray where the spoon lands.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene, when Darrin flips up the picture of Endora, when the camera cuts back onto the frame, it's color.
Revealing mistake: When Aunt Clara "parachutes" in the background is not the neighborhood background shown throughout series with Kravitz across the street...and no pine forest. It's obvious a stage background.
A Most Unusual Wood Nymph - S3-E5
Continuity mistake: When Samantha gets up off the couch to confront the wood nymph, the pillow on the couch, on the left side of the screen, is laying flat. When they move back in front of the couch when Endora arrives, the pillow is standing up against the armrest.
Samantha Meets the Folks - S1-E14
Visible crew/equipment: When Aunt Clara's satchel and umbrella are "floating" up the stairs the shadow of the boom pole making the magic is visible above the Menorah at the top of the wall.
Samantha's Witchcraft Blows a Fuse - S8-E25
Revealing mistake: When the officers pull away, the shadow of the car is visible on the painted backdrop of trees. This isn't the neighborhood of Morning Glory Circle with the Kravitz House across the street. The shadow reveals it's a stage backdrop. Further, this is basically the same as Allergic to the Macedonian DoDo Bird from Season 3, with the same DoDo Bird costume.
George Washington Zapped Here (2) - S8-E22
Continuity mistake: The front door which is usually green is now white.
Bewitched, Bothered and Infuriated - S3-E31
Continuity mistake: When Aunt Clara gets her flare, Samantha's position changes quickly between camera shots.
Samantha's Witchcraft Blows a Fuse - S8-E25
Other mistake: When the police pull up outside the Stephens' home, it is a set shot with fake background. The "road" doesn't match the outside of Stephens' neighborhood shown throughout the series with the Kravitz house across the street (and not a pine tree forest as shown here).
Be it Ever So Mortgaged - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: After Darrin arrives at the house and Sam goes outside to greet him and Endora disappears from the living room, there is no carpet runner/protector on the carpet leading to the patio door and the folding style patio door blinds are totally folded. When Darrin and Sam come into the house looking for Endora the carpet runner is there and the patio door blinds are partially open.
I, Darrin, Take This Witch, Samantha - S1-E1
Visible crew/equipment: At the dinner party and after a gust of wind, Samantha uses her powers to close the front door. As it shuts, the shadow of the moving camera is visible on the wall on the right-hand side. (00:22:23)
Continuity mistake: When Darrin steps outside for the morning paper, neighbor Dora O' Riley is working on the lettering of her mailbox. Darrin gets locked out of his house. He goes to a window, turns back to Dora and says "I got locked out". The lettering on the mailbox is completely different. (00:00:48 - 00:01:27)
Continuity mistake: The front door changes color and style from white to green then back to white at the end of the show when Larry is talking to Darrin.
I, Darrin, Take This Witch, Samantha - S1-E1
Revealing mistake: After the hairbrush comes to Samantha, she starts to brush, and you see the lights reflect off the wires used for the gag.
Other mistake: The map behind the officer is of Southern California. The series is supposed to be set in the NY tri-state area. (00:12:45)
Revealing mistake: After Samantha restores The Leprechaun's power he walks into the backyard, and when Endora, who's on the roof, uses her powers to have him float up to join her, the wire cables can be seen giving him the needed boost upwards. Later, the cables can be seen again when Sam lifts him up in the living room. (00:09:40)
A Very Special Delivery - S2-E2
Continuity mistake: When Darrin and Samantha are in a bar with a man eating popcorn. The place mat changes position and the drink moves closer to the man from one shot to the next.
Marriage, Witches' Style - S5-E21
Revealing mistake: At the end of the episode, during Serena and Samantha's second meeting with Mr. Beams, in the wideshots of the two women sitting on the couch and also when they're both poking their heads through the doorway, Serena's body double actually appears face-forward. Additionally, in the closeups of Serena and Sam on the couch, both are played by Elizabeth Montgomery, and we can see the wall's color difference behind them due to the use of the split-screen technique. (00:22:25)
Answer: Telstar was an early communications satellite system. Darrin, in a particularly sexist manner reflective of this era, is saying that telling a secret to a woman means it is guaranteed to be "broadcasted" to multiple people.
