Starring: Rowan Atkinson

Genres: Comedy, Family

The Library - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: In the extra 'Library' scene, the book that Bean is given already has the loose pages before he has been at them with the knife. (At one point the pages get pushed forward a little bit, meaning that they're not fastened into the book.)

The Library - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: Just before Mr Bean rips a page out of his book, there is already a tear in it just before he actually tears it, which is not visible in any of the preceding shots.

The Library - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: When Mr Bean's book falls apart, he tries putting the book back together, and he holds one page up to the camera and it has a slight reflection as if it is glossy paper. As far as I know old books like the one Mr Bean had don't have pages like that. It's an obviously fake book.

The Curse Of Mr. Bean - S1-E4

Revealing mistake: When Irma screams at seeing Mr Bean with his jumper pulled over his head, all of the other cinema patrons jump with shock - except for the woman directly behind the two of them, on the right of the screen. She just grins and laughs, forgetting that her character shouldn't be in on the joke.

The Trouble With Mr. Bean - S1-E8

Revealing mistake: Near the beginning, when Bean is asleep, we see him put his toe over the hose to prevent the water from spraying out - however, if you watch closely, the water flow stops moments before his toe comes into contact with the hose.

Mr. Bean Rides Again - S1-E9

Revealing mistake: In the train scene when Mr. Bean plugs his ears with his socks you can see that he didn't use the ones he was actually wearing before. Once he took them off he placed them in front of him but reached slightly to his right for the ones he plugged in his ears. Also those where still flat like after ironing them and didn't look worn at all.

Mr. Bean In Room 426 - S1-E11

Revealing mistake: When Bean silences the guest in room 427 after they were playing loud music, he accidently locks himself out. Later when Bean crawls under a carpet past his room to hide from a kissing couple, room 427 has changed into a fire exit (you can see the room number has been replaced by a fire exit sign).

Do-It-Yourself Mr. Bean - S1-E13

Revealing mistake: At the end when Mr. Bean blows up the paint and it splatters all over the walls in his apartment, he comes back in and his doorknob is covered in wet white paint which he pushes shut. Only problem is that when he pulls his fingers back, there is no wet paint whatsoever on them. (00:23:30)

Goodnight, Mr. Bean - S1-E18

Other mistake: When calling their next patient, the nurses look at the small screen to find out what number is next. After Mr. Bean has rotated the device, however, a nurse calls number 92 before the screen displays the 9. (00:06:22)

Trivia: The Latin lyrics used at the beginning are "Ecce homo qui est farba, qui est farba, qui est farba", which mean "Behold the man who is a bean". At the end, it's identical, but "Ecce" is changed to "Vale"; "Farewell, man who is a bean." Before and after the advert break (in the UK version), the lyrics are "Fin de partie primae" and "Pars secunda" - "End of Part One" and "Part Two".
