Continuity mistake: As Bishop Brennan Holds Ted up against the bedroom wall after he has broken in, the crucifix behind Ted's head goes from hanging crooked to hanging straight between shots.

Continuity mistake: The lamps on either side of the door to the house are not there in some scenes - most noticeably in the opening credits, but in other scenes they are there.

Good Luck, Father Ted - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Terry MacNamee is talking to Father Ted on the phone on the island, his tie is blown over his shoulder. After a cut to Father Ted, his tie is hanging straight. After another cut, it is back over his shoulder again.

Night of the Nearly Dead - S3-E7

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the old women are grabbing at Eoin at the front door in one shot the top pane of the window on the left of the door is broken and an arm is coming through it, in another shot the bottom pane is broken and the top one is intact and arm is coming through the bottom pane and in the very next shot the top pane is broken again and the bottom one is intact again. Continuity mistake: The first time Bishop Brennan inspects the skirting board, it is covered in black marks. The second time, there are none.

The Mainland - S3-E4

Continuity mistake: When Jack goes into the pub, it is dark outside, but when Ted and Dougal leave the caves, it is daytime, despite both scenes supposedly taking place at the same time.

Good Luck, Father Ted - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: Immediately before Ted and Dougal enter the fortune teller's tent, there is a scene which appears to have been shot much later in the day than those on either side - it's almost night time.

Hell - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: Father Dougal's hair changes position during the scene in the car, before they go on holiday.

And God Created Woman - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: As Father Crilly is shouting at Father Jack "No, not your room, not your room." to get up out of the spare bed, watch closely and as Father Ted strikes him in the face, notice that his hand doesn't even touch his face, and his hand stops several inches away from his face, using only his reaction and the sound of a punch to illustrate a punch at all. Continuity mistake: Ted and Dougal are sitting in the fourth row from the back for the journey. But when Ted presses the emergency button and after the credits, three completely different men are sitting in their seats. Everyone has been given seat numbers so they should not be sitting there.

A Christmassy Ted - S2-E11

Continuity mistake: When the commercial for the Priest chatback comes on, the phone number that's read out doesn't match the one that comes up on screen.

Old Grey Whistle Theft - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: When Ted is talking to Sergeant Hodgkins as he takes off in the helicopter outside John and Mary's shop, Ted's hair is messy and windswept. However, when he walks in the shop moments later his hair is neat and tidy.
