Continuity mistake: When J.D. and Eliot go bungee jumping, they go past a large pipe, or something on the way down but, when they bounce back up, it's gone.
Deliberate mistake: When the janitor pulls the plug on the phone, there would actually be nothing but dead air because the janitor just pulls the plug on the handset, not the whole phone. So they added a dial tone for comedic value. (00:22:20)

My Overkill - S2-E1
Continuity mistake: When JD and Turk are in bed, JD has his arms out of the cover and they are bare, when Turk pulls the cover off he now has a coat on.
Character mistake: Throughout the series, JD and Turk are shown to be major sitcom geeks. At one point in the episode, JD says to Turk he Marcia Brady'd his ass, and explains what it means. Turk responds along the lines of "Yea, I know. 'Marcia Gets Creamed' Season 5 episode 3. Don't ever question me about The Bunch!" 'Marcia Gets Creamed' is season 5 episode 10. Episode 3 is 'The Elopement'. Not a mistake a couple of geeks would make.
Continuity mistake: Elliot, Carla and JD are in the cafeteria, JD has an orange drink that's flat on the table with his hands around the base, the shot cuts to showing his front and the bottle is now tilted towards him with a hand around the top.
