Suggested correction: No it is simply out of shot. There are 4 hooks on the lower half of the racks, in the second shot only 3 pegs are visible and we see Bart put his hat on the end peg.

Character mistake: When Homer discovers that the Leftorium is going out of business, there is a sign that says 'Coming Soon: Gum for Less' beside the store. Later on, though, Ned says the new store is becoming 'Libertarian Party Headquarters.' (00:15:50 - 00:19:15)

Suggested correction: The sign is just an advertising poster that's on a wall. It's not in front of the leftorium.

Continuity mistake: When Krusty has a cigarette during the cartoon just before he is reunited with his father, he keeps his cigarette pack in his shirt pocket, 'close to his heart'. When Krusty and his father hug, the cigarette and the packet are gone.

The Otto Show - S3-E22

Continuity mistake: At the very end of the episode, when the kids are lined up to wait to see whether Otto is back driving the bus, there are several shots that switch back and forth between a direct view of the kids and a shot from behind. Lisa changes position between shots. (00:21:15)

Continuity mistake: When Homer stands on the nail in the back yard, you can see behind him, that on the wall next to the back door there are two purple lights. Seconds later when Lisa shows him the new doghouse, the lights have gone. (00:17:25)
