Corrected entry: When the sisters are in the nightclub P3 they can hear everything they say to each other really well. If you are in a nightclub you have to shout over the music but they can talk normal and hear every word the other says.
Little Box of Horrors - S7-E18
Corrected entry: Katya kills Nina and then takes Nina's form when she visits the Charmed Ones. But why would Katya need to take Nina's form? The Charmed Ones have never seen Nina before, nor did they know anything about her, so she could have just shown up as herself, but maybe not wearing the red leather body armor. Also, why would Katya give the Charmed Ones so much accurate information about herself and about Pandora's Box? The whole setup was done to fool the viewers, but made no sense in terms of trying to fool the Charmed Ones.
Correction: Katya can't know for sure that they've never met Nina. Also, Katya knows that the Charmed Ones have the book which often has pictures of the demons in it and may have seen her (or Nina) while flipping through it. Even though in this case, there is not a picture of her next to her description in the book, she is safer to assume that there is.
Corrected entry: Phoebe's final is on Friday morning, but when she comes to the Goo-Goo Dolls concert at P3 (on Saturday, according to the posters) she's already received her grade. There is no way her final would have been corrected and her grade posted up that fast.
Correction: Her grade very much could have been posted by that point. I taught a college course and my class had their final on a friday night, We had to have their final exam grades and overall class grades by Sunday morning. So that is the same time period and everyone's grades were done. Maybe the professor had help.
Be Careful What You Witch For - S2-E22
Corrected entry: When Prue gets turned into a teenager after wishing that she wanted it to be like it was the first time, she was at a cafe with Dick. When the genie is freed, he goes to the same cafe. When Piper and Leo go looking for him, Piper supposedly knows which cafe the genie found Prue at, even though Prue has no memory of the future so she couldn't have told them.
Correction: Prue planned the date before she was turned into a teenager and as her sisters know about Dick, she probably told them what they were doing that day, which was going to a cafe. The conversation may not have happened on screen but its perfectly reasonable, I tell my sisters wherever I'm going on my dates.
Corrected entry: Prue's death was not originally scripted. They just took her out of the show because Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano became bitter enemies, and Phoebe was a more popular character. In fact, Shannen Doherty showed up for rehearsal for season four and they told her she was fired.
Correction: Shannon Doherty actually left the show Charmed months before season 4 started, she actually made up her mind about that earlier in December. She left because she thought the work was no longer fulfilling and to quote her, "Theres too much drama on the set, and not enough passion for the work". She did have words with Alyssa Milano backstage and they weren't the best of friends, but according to her, that didn't effect her decision to leave the show.
Corrected entry: In 'The Eyes Have It' Phoebe's vision shows her that Piper's explosion power doesn't work on Orin, so why did Piper later try to blow him up? Wouldn't it have made more sense to have Piper try to freeze him, or be ready with a knife for Paige to orb into him? Why try a method of attack they had already seen fail?
Correction: It is Piper's first instinct, ie her natural impulse, to try and blow him up, even though she knew it would not work. It does not make this a mistake.
Corrected entry: When the Source, as Shane, stabbed Cole, it was broad daylight. The sisters and Leo didn't find him to heal him until late at night. This means that Cole's semiconscious, bleeding body was lying next to a city sidewalk for half a day without being noticed by anyone.
Correction: It is possible that no one saw him, this is not a mistake.
Corrected entry: When Paige decides to use magic to show Glenn that she really is a witch, she casts a spell that is supposed to "expand his imagination," but instead makes his body able to expand and contract like elastic. But why would Paige cast an unfamiliar spell on Glenn, instead of just using her orbing talent to provide quick and obvious proof of the reality of magic?
Correction: Because by "expanding his imagination" he will be more likely to believe and accept what she is telling him, while simply orbing might make him freak out and not be able to accept it.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Paige's coworker Donnie makes a crack at Billy the mail boy about his inability to "tear [himself] away from the cleavage in this section," he glares accusingly at Paige. But Paige was wearing a high-necked red blouse. She certainly looked attractive, but there was no cleavage in sight.
Correction: Donnie is a jerk. He made a mean comment about Paige that probably had more to do with the kind of clothes she usually wears than what she was wearing that particular day.
Corrected entry: After Skye's body is found, Darryl says that "The coroner says it's as if she fell off a twenty-story building." But when did the coroner ever see this body? They're still at the crime scene, and the body hasn't even been moved from the bed yet.
Correction: If you watch any show like Law & Order or CSI, you will see the coroner arrive at the scene of the crime, often before the police. It makes perfect sense for the medical examiner to see the body before they leave the scene.
Corrected entry: In 'The Honeymoon's Over' Piper says that once someone is out of a freeze she can't freeze them too without unfreezing the first people frozen, but back in season 2's 'They're Everywhere' she freezes Jack, then when Jeff walks into the room freezes him too without unfreezing Jack.
Correction: This is not correct. In the episode, Piper froze only the "innocent" people to determine who the demon was. It turns out the only people she froze were the DA, Darryl, and Leo. When Pru asked Piper to freeze the rest, she says she can't because once they are immune to her freeze, she can't freeze them as demonstrated later when she tries anyway. This is in no way similar to the Jack and Jeff freeze in Season 2.
Corrected entry: When Piper changes out of her maternity clothes, she does so in her bedroom closet. But that's the same closet that she and Leo converted into a nursery at the beginning of the season. There is no explanation of why and how it was once again filled with clothes.
Corrected entry: In 'Out of Sight', season 1, Prue is pouring a potion into jars when the phone rings. When she sets the pot down there is one full jar and one empty jar, when she runs back a few seconds later to grab the potion both jars are full.
Correction: Actually, when she runs to the phone she passes two other full jars, and those are the ones she grabs.
Corrected entry: In the Book of Shadows it says that a Phoenix is a coven of witches who are reborn; however in series four, episode "Bite Me" Piper and Phoebe are looking through the book of shadows to see what could have bitten Paige. When Piper suggests a phoenix, Phoebe says it flies but it doesn't fight.
Correction: The Phoenix referred to in "Chris-Crossed" is the name of a coven of witch-assassins, not the mythical flying bird mentioned in "Bite Me".
Witch Wars - S6-E21
Corrected entry: It is mentioned that a good witch who was murdered had the power of shooting fire from her hands. But when Phoebe exhibited a fire-throwing power in the fourth season, Leo was immediately alarmed because that is an upper level demonic power. And Phoebe's past life incarnation had a pyrokinetic power in episode 2-14: "Pardon My Past," which her cousins bound and also banned from occurring again in the future. The bottom line is, good witches don't shoot fire from their hands.
Correction: What about the witch killed in "Something Wicca This Way Comes"? This isn't the first time a good witch has summoned fire - the reason Leo was alarmed was because of the manner of Phoebe's power, not the fact that it involved fire. Phoebe's ancestors banned the power from occurring again within the family line, but wouldn't have had the power to banish it from all witches.
I've Got You Under My Skin - S1-E2
Corrected entry: Prue smugly chastises Phoebe for trying to use magic for personal gain when she plays the lottery numbers from her vision. Not addressed in the episode is the fact that Prue used her telekinesis to prevent the elevator from stopping at everyone else's floors when she was on her way up to her interview at Buckland's.
Corrected entry: In some later episodes of season four, Piper is sad because she has some fertility problems, making it hard for her to conceive a child. The only reason Wyatt was conceived is because Piper accidentally ate a chocolate that made her fertile with demon seed (explaining Wyatt's future evilness). But in season six, Chris is conceived as if Piper never had fertility problems at all.
Correction: Many people with fertility problems go on to concieve naturally.
Corrected entry: When magic was exposed to the world when the charmed ones were trying to vanquish the demon that eventually killed Prue, everything got out of hand, and they needed tempas in the end. However, seasons later when Wyatt (Piper and Leo's baby) exposed magic by bringing the dragon out of the television, the cleaners came and erased everything, and there was no mess (besides the loss of Wyatt. Why didn't the cleaners come earlier, when the news crew captured the exposure on tape?
Correction: As was stated, the Charmed Ones were well known for dealing with the messes on their own. As such, the only real reason the Cleaners finally interfered was due to Wyatt and his powerful abilities.
Corrected entry: Leo tells Piper that "there was no one there to finish [her baby book] after [her] mother died," and that's why every page from "The Sixth Year" onwards is blank. But Piper and her sisters were raised by Grams after Patty died. Why wouldn't Grams have continued filling in the baby book?
Correction: Maybe seeing the baby book that Patti started and never got a chance to finish was too painful for her. It's not really a mistake, it's impossible to predict how grief will affect people.
Corrected entry: After the girls realize that removing their masks alters their way of thinking, The Aggressor dashes in and uses his power to throw Phoebe across the room. After this, Piper runs to Phoebe but screams "Lyssie" (the nickname the cast and crew uses for Alyssa Milano)
Correction: Actually, she says Phoebe.
Correction: Some nightclubs are not that loud. Plus most clubs turn the volume up as it gets later.
