Continuity mistake: Niles and Marty are in the kitchen and Niles is coaching Marty on how to pretend to be Jewish. While they are talking, the lid on the sugar bowl goes from being on properly to being askew, even though no one touched it.
Good Grief - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: Roz is about to show Frasier her video of him feeding Alice - he is sitting in his dad's chair holding a piece of food in each hand. The shot goes back to him and he has both pieces in his right hand - without enough time for him to switch.
Hot Ticket - S6-E4
Continuity mistake: After Sir Trevor leaves the bar and heads for his reception, the level in the drink he left behind goes up even though no one went near it.
Shutout in Seattle (2) - S6-E24
Continuity mistake: Faye is walking into Cafe Nervosa and Kit the waitress is at Noel's table just behind Marty and Frasier. As Faye says "Hi Martin" we can no longer see Kit even though there was no time for her to move out of the shot.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Frasier is having coffee with Nancy and Roz comes in - she sits down and goes to put her purse on the floor. In the next shot her arms are suddenly up on her table and her hands near her face - without enough time for this to have happened in real time.
The Seal Who Came to Dinner - S6-E8
Continuity mistake: Niles gets out some bills to pay for his coffee and puts all of them on the table, one by one. The next shot shows him counting out his bills in his hand again. (00:02:50)
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the show, Niles and Frasier are shaping hamburger patties in the kitchen. Niles has a blue bottle of water which sits on the stove top in front of him. In one shot it suddenly appears on the counter to his right; even though Niles hadn't moved it. By the end of the scene it is back in front of him on the stove top.
Continuity mistake: In the last scene of this part of the show, where Frasier is trying to figure out if Cassandra is romantically interested in him - he removes his outer clothes and stands in front of her closet. We see his clothes change position several times. Sometimes they are on the back of the chair, sometimes they are on the floor. His shoes also change places. In fact, the shoes appear to move on their own at one point and are pulled tidily to one side.
Shutout in Seattle (2) - S6-E24
Continuity mistake: At the end of the show. Roz is sitting at a table with Bulldog. She picks up the stuffed dog he gave her and chases him to the door, leaving her purse behind. She then goes to the back, probably the Lady's Room. When she returns, she brings her purse with her, even though she left it on the table.
How to Bury a Millionaire - S6-E7
Continuity mistake: When Martin is asleep reading a book, from one angle he is holding the book at the bottom and from another angle, at the top.
Shutout in Seattle (1) - S6-E23
Continuity mistake: Donny is sitting on Frasier's couch eating Chinese food. One of the containers, with chopsticks in it, is sitting on the table, near the center. In the next shot the chopsticks have disappeared and the container has moved towards the end of the table. (00:12:05)
Continuity mistake: The nutcracker in the bowl next to Frasier's elbow changes position several times while they are trying to convince Marty to change the date of his poker game. (00:11:00)
Continuity mistake: Niles and Frasier meet Donny for the first time in his office. Donny's secretary brings him a sandwich and he takes a bite out of it, in the center of the sandwich half. He starts saying how good it is, and offers the guys a bite - now the bitten part has moved and is on the outer edge of the sandwich.
Shutout in Seattle (1) - S6-E23
Continuity mistake: Early in the show Frasier finds Daphne's engagement ring which she had misplaced. He is holding it - on the table we can see a chip bag that Daphne had used to hide her ringless hand. During the course of the scene, the chip bag appears and disappears several times.
Continuity mistake: Frazier meets his date (Cassandra) in the restaurant - she places her purse down, and it constantly moves around in different positions while they talk. Sometimes it's to her right, sometimes to her left, and one it is lying on the table with her hand over it.
Hot Ticket - S6-E4
Continuity mistake: When Trevor asks Frasier and Niles about "the hat scene," you can see Frasier's hands resting on the bar away from his glass. In the next shot, his hands are clasping his glass.

Continuity mistake: Frasier and Niles are talking about getting tickets for the play. On the table next to Marty's chair there's a newspaper that changes position noticeably during their conversation. Neither of them touched it and Martin is not in the scene.
When a Man Loves Two Women - S6-E21
Continuity mistake: Daphne and Marty are arguing about Cassandra and Faye. As the shot goes from one to the other, the spout on the milk carton goes from opened to closed and back again. (00:09:35)
Continuity mistake: Martin is listening to Donny talk to Niles in his office. At one point Marty has his right hand up to his face but in the next shot his hands are laced together, resting on his stomach, with no time for a natural change. (00:09:30)

If you include soaps there are two main contenders - William Roache, who's been playing Ken Barlow in "Coronation Street" in the UK since 1960. Don Hastings has been playing Robert Hughes in US soap "As the World Turns" since 1960 as well.
