Revealing mistake: When the transvestite is throwing eggs at Samantha's window, she is holding the cardboard egg container in her left hand. She keeps throwing eggs, but you can tell by the way she is holding the egg container that it is really empty. It flops down vertically from her hand, and there is no way eggs would be able to remain in the egg crate by holding it in that manner.

Revealing mistake: When the gardener hands Charlotte the rose, he is supposedly picking it out of some rose bushes he is in the process of planting. He even makes a motion as if 'picking' it from the bunch. But when he hands the single long stem rose to Charlotte; it's obvious that this rose has already been cut, and is missing the lower leaves. Revealing mistake: When Trey and Charlotte stop in front of Tiffany's, all of the passers-by stare at the camera. There's even a bald man in a white T-shirt who stops dead in his tracks and sneaks his head in between Charlotte and Trey while staring.
Hot child in the city - S3-E15
Revealing mistake: When Carrie is scooting through New York, there are literally crowds of people gathering together watching the filming and staring at Carrie and the camera. There's even a big group standing in the middle of the road despite the traffic with a cop in front controlling the situation.
Revealing mistake: When Sam is having sex with the doctor, you can tell she has a skin-coloured bra to stop her breasts from being shown.
Running with scissors - S3-E11
Revealing mistake: When Samantha and her partner are using the 'swing,' you can tell from the long shot that Kim Cattrall is actually wearing some sort of prosthetic around her hips, to simulate her rear area. It is larger, and sticks out prominently in an unnatural manner. This was probably done to ensure modesty for the actress. (00:22:30)
Answer: I'm a long-time fan of the show, having re-watched it many times, and I definitely remember slightly different dialogue at the end of that episode than what's on my DVD. I'm afraid I have no idea why this change might have been made or any other info, but you're not insane.
