The One With The Secret Closet - S8-E14
Other mistake: When Chandler stops by to see how Joey's doing after Rachel has moved out, Joey's holding a gallon jug of Minute Maid orange juice with its brand name partially painted to hide it, so it now reads "Vinut Vaio" on the label.
The One With The Birthing Video - S8-E15
Revealing mistake: When Monica gets out of her room to show Chandler her sexy clothing, as she opens the room's door, the buildings from across the street move. The scenario was a curtain and the wind that the door made when she opened it on the set made those curtains with the buildings printed in move. (00:06:25)
The One With The Birthing Video - S8-E15
Continuity mistake: In the one where Chandler watches the video of a woman giving birth, he takes a video out of the VCR and places it on the table (he's staring at the box and when Monica moves it we hear that a tape's inside). When Monica enters the room, she asks him what he is so upset about and he presses play on the remote control. The tape immediately starts playing, despite no-one moving to put it in the player. The One Where Joey Tells Rachel - S8-E16
Continuity mistake: When Monica is talking to Ross about how Joey feels, there is a shot of Monica bending down to talk to Ross, and some magazines on a table. At the end of the scene the magazines have changed place. (00:05:30)
The One Where Joey Tells Rachel - S8-E16
Continuity mistake: At the end of the previous episode, Joey tells Ross that he has feelings for Rachel just as Ross is about to walk out of Central Perk, and there's a vase of tulips on the table beside the door and two things hanging on the coat hooks. The opening scene of this episode continues at the same moment of Joey's admission, and the vase has vanished and there's only a sweater hanging on the coat hooks.
The One Where Joey Tells Rachel - S8-E16
Continuity mistake: When Monica and Chandler get back to the apartment Chandler tosses his coat over the back of the couch, and while they're talking about soulmates and a house of cheese we can see Chandler's coat in the reflection on the TV, but then it vanishes in the reflection, though it reappears when Chandler says that he wants to take Monica out to a restaurant.
The One With The Tea Leaves - S8-E17
Continuity mistake: Throughout the entire first scene where Rachel is asking Chandler and Monica if they have seen Joey and he's in the bathroom, Chandler is sitting at the table and his blue cup constantly switches from being in his hand to on the table much too quickly to be real movement. At one point he even holds a piece of food which then disappears from his hand back on to the plate. (00:00:45)
The One With The Tea Leaves - S8-E17
Continuity mistake: When Pheobe is reading the tea leaves, Chandler lowers his cup. The camera cuts and he lowers his cup again. (00:04:30)
The One With The Tea Leaves - S8-E17
Visible crew/equipment: After Monica and Chandler leave the apartment so Joey and Rachel can be alone, Rachel tells Joey that it's nothing and he tells her he's going to take-off, then in the next wideshot the camera can be seen at the left side of the screen. (00:08:30)
The One With The Tea Leaves - S8-E17
Continuity mistake: When Ross opens Mona's door with the hidden key he only has to unsnap the door. Also, when Mona enters her flat a moment later she has to unlock the door. (00:10:50)
The One With The Tea Leaves - S8-E17
Continuity mistake: When Joey is picking up his bagel off the ground in Chandler's apartment he says something about the bagel hole being to small and he has it in his left hand. In the next shot it shows Chandler making a face and Joey's hand is empty. In the next shot Joey is sitting down and the bagel is back in his hand.
The One In Massapequa - S8-E18
Audio problem: When Monica is preparing her speech, she stands up to show Chandler her note card, but when you can hear her say "Hey, check this out," her lips don't move. (00:02:20)
The One In Massapequa - S8-E18
Continuity mistake: When Monica shows Chandler the photo of Chi-Chi, as she says, "It's good stuff, huh," in the closeup Monica takes hold of the photo with her raised empty right hand, but in the next wide shot Monica is holding a Sharpie in her right hand and the photo is in her raised left hand. (00:02:25)
The One In Massapequa - S8-E18
Continuity mistake: In The One In Massapequa, Jack Gellar is eating food off a stick. When he finishes he holds the stick while Rachel asks Jack if he has any pearls of wisdom. We can see the stick over Judy's shoulder. In the next shot the stick is gone from his hand, then we see Judy put it down on a table, then it reappears in his hand, before disappearing for good. (00:05:05)
The One In Massapequa - S8-E18
Revealing mistake: During Jack and Judy Geller's party, there are many shots where Elliott Gould's (Jack Geller) stand-in is perfectly visible. First, when Catherine walks over to offer congratulations to Rachel and Ross. Second, when Ross looks directly at his "dad" to ask if they have to pretend they're married. Then, numerous wide shots of "stand-in Jack" and Judy seated together in the background, such as after Rachel mentions the ring being the size of her fist, and during the toasts, etc. (00:06:00)
The One In Massapequa - S8-E18
Character mistake: In the early years, the gang are talking about their pets dying and their parents saying they sent them to a farm and Ross thinks that actually exists. He said that they sent their dog Chee Chee there and HE could run about chasing animals. Then in TOI Massapequa, Monica is preparing her speech and she tells Chandler about Chee Chee and said SHE died when Monica was in school, and when Parker asks whose dog it is, Monica says HE's my old dog. Then during her speech, Monica says HER and Nana are gone. (00:15:30)
The One In Massapequa - S8-E18
Visible crew/equipment: After the anniversary party, when Rachel and Ross are back at the apartment and Ross tells her that it was the easiest four hundred bucks he ever made, Rachel gets up and just as she walks around the couch we can see the reflection of the cameraman/crew member in the mirror on the wall, at the right side of the screen.
Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.
