The One With The 'Cuffs - S4-E3
Visible crew/equipment: While Joey's scraping gum from underneath the table there's a knock at the door, and when he gets up to head to the door the end of the set wall can be seen at the right side of the screen.

Continuity mistake: The handcuffs that Joanna uses on Chandler have a single metal bar connected via pivot to a double bar with the lock area. When Joanna first cuffs Chandler, the double bars on both sides face up at his wrists, but when Chandler's on the phone and when Rachel unlocks his right cuff, the handcuffs are going round his wrist the opposite way with the single bars facing up - quite impossible. Then the same thing occurs when Rachel handcuffs Chandler to the filing cabinet.

Continuity mistake: Joey's encounter with the encyclopedia salesman is riddled with errors. First, when the salesman is talking about Van Gogh and saying "He painted that," he points to a page that is all text; later, Joey is reading about vomit, and it is at a pont much further on in the book than when the salesman read about vulcanized rubber (which it shouldn't be, given the encyclopedia is alphabetized); finally, when Joey buys the "V" volume, as he opens it he has a $50 bill in his hand, and when the shot changes to show the salesman he is somehow folding and pocketing it without having taken it from Joey. Continuity mistake: In Joanna's office, Chandler and Rachel are pulling his pants from one another while he is cuffed to the filing cabinet. Right before Rachel says "What if I clean your bathroom for a month?" she throws the pants onto a chair, but then when Chandler later says "Freedom. I want my freedom. Why won't you hear me?" he opens the door to yell to Sophie and they are both holding the pants again. (00:15:10)

Continuity mistake: Rachel is telling Chandler to break off his relationship with Joanna, who had walked through the room and went into Chandler's bedroom, shutting the door. By the end of the conversation between Chandler and Rachel, the door is open but no one has entered or left the room.
Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
