Other mistake: Gene Autry is chasing Mack Healy and his outlaw gang, who are using Jim Decker's house and mine as a base of operations. Healy gives Decker a rifle and tells him they're being followed by a "claim jumper." Healy says there are seven bullets in the gun. When Autry rides into view, Decker begins shooting. Other mistake: Gene is chasing Ted Nolan, who is believed to have ties to a gang of cattle rustlers. Both men are on horseback. A long shot of Gene riding across a range is followed by a long shot of Ted riding across the same range so it appears Ted is chasing Gene instead of the other way around.
