Evil Spirit of the Diving Pool - S1-E18
Other mistake: In this episode, we learn that Kindaichi can't swim. However, the series is a continuation of the first one from 1997: in a few instances (the Ghost Passenger Ship Murder Case, The Kidnapping of Reika Hayami Murder Case, with Reika appearing as a key character here) Kindaichi could swim just fine and in fact would bravely dive in the ocean to save someone and swim downstream in a mountain river when gravely injured, respectively.
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: Miyuki listens all dreamy to the guy who nearly killed her. When he says that he's been in America the past years, she joins her hands together; she does it with the pinky finger of her right-hand being the bottom finger, but in the next close-up the bottom finger is her left pinky. Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: Kindaichi and his friend are watching Tamaki's roaring success with the ladies on his first day of school. At the first cut there are clear changes in their position (just look at Kindaichi's hand). (00:03:50)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: When Kenmochi is praying at the altar of the victim from the old case, the burnt part of the incense changes length between shots. (00:05:55)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: When Kenmochi has tea with the sister of the victim, the cookies on the plates change position between shots. You can also notice in the same scene that the kettle's handle switches sides. (00:06:10)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: Erina just sent away the lawyer and the guy who raped his sister. She falls on her knees crying, and you can see on the floor some scattered boots lying around. Kenmochi helps her back on her feet, and the shoes are gone. (00:08:20)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Other mistake: There's a coloring mistake in the glass in front of Busujima in the shot when finishes playing his handheld game and sends the waitress away; the glass is half empty / half full...but vertically. The part to the right of the straw is full to the brim and the part to its left is nearly empty. (00:10:35)

Other mistake: Hajime ends the conversation with Miyuki, but the screen on her phone still shows the conversation going. (00:13:50)

Other mistake: When Akechi drives Kindaichi to the scene of the shooting, the tachometer of his car is set at 0. (00:14:00)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of Akechi's flashback, Kenmochi is holding his clenched fists on top of a single open notebook. A second later he's doing the same, but on two separate pieces of paper. (00:14:40)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Continuity mistake: Busujima is playing with his handheld console inside the hospital room. When he puts the console down, you can see his smartphone on the bed; however, it's behind the pillow in one shot, well in front of it in the next. (00:15:50)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 1 - S1-E19
Other mistake: The police is searching the crime scene of the supposed suicide. The police was alerted because the suicide happened by drowning, leaving the bathtub running till it overflew alerting the other people in the building. The body of the victim is still completely immersed in the bathtub (nobody drained it), and Kindaichi and Aoi walk on a dry floor while there should be a massive flooding.
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 2 - S1-E20
Continuity mistake: The forensics team member that drains the tub and performs a quick postmortem on the victim is wearing a facemask. However, in the close-up of the moment when he bags the phone as evidence, his chin is in frame and bare. (00:03:10)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 2 - S1-E20
Continuity mistake: In the scene with Kindaichi and Miyuki talk to the old fiancé on the rooftop of the police station, the shadow cast by the building changes significantly from the beginning of the conversation to the end. (00:05:50 - 00:07:10)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 2 - S1-E20
Continuity mistake: During Reiji Aoi's flashback, the young fiancé is holding the phone with Marina's coerced text message in his right hand. Next shot and the hand is the left one. (00:06:15)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 2 - S1-E20
Continuity mistake: When Kindaichi confronts Akechi in the corridor of the station about his decision to issue an arrest order for Kenmochi, you can notice two billboards; the one to the left has a single poster on it, and its height (compare it to the ones on the board to the right) changes between shots. (00:07:30)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 2 - S1-E20
Plot hole: One of the plot points of the episode lies in the fact that Kenmochi is accused to be the killer because only the cops had Busujima's phone number, apart from his two accomplices. That point holds absolutely no weight; the killer is a killer because he, well, killed someone, and that someone was exactly one of those accomplices. It's a fact that can't be ignored by even the most ignorant investigator, especially with the accomplice's phone being directly involved in the murder. (00:10:15)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 2 - S1-E20
Continuity mistake: The lawyer is thrown back by the explosion. Lying on the gravel, hurt, he raises his head in close-up to look at the fire. In the wide shot though, he's unconscious. (00:16:30)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 2 - S1-E20
Plot hole: The brief intermission when Busujima meets the 'killer', or at least the person wearing the hat, does not make sense plot-wise and is merely a dishonest way to trick the audience. It's not even something Busujima tells someone, so it can't be characterized as a 'unreliable narrator' device. (00:18:30)
Inspector Kenmochi the Murderer File 2 - S1-E20
Character mistake: Not only the program of the police station computer misspells "Matching" missing the I, but the operator says that the print on the right is Kenmochi's and the left print is the one taken from the device; it's the other way around. (00:19:20)
