Other mistake: The police is searching the crime scene of the supposed suicide. The police was alerted because the suicide happened by drowning, leaving the bathtub running till it overflew alerting the other people in the building. The body of the victim is still completely immersed in the bathtub (nobody drained it), and Kindaichi and Aoi walk on a dry floor while there should be a massive flooding.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of Akechi's flashback, Kenmochi is holding his clenched fists on top of a single open notebook. A second later he's doing the same, but on two separate pieces of paper. (00:14:40)
