Twice the Grieving, Double the Loss - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: When Michelle mentions she has to leave the wake at 3, the way Nathan is holding the cup and saucer in his hands changes entirely between cuts. He goes from holding the cup on the saucer with his left hand to holding it above the saucer with his right hand.
Twice the Grieving, Double the Loss - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: At Bree's wake, after Lexy gets up and walks away from Junior, you can see a woman in the background walking. When it cuts from Junior to Logan, the woman is suddenly about 10 feet from where she just was.
Twice the Grieving, Double the Loss - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: When Andy is hassling Kyle about cigarettes, she says, "Seriously? You're worried about this?" When she says this, she goes from holding the pack up by her face to down by her waist between cuts.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Doll-Tiffany surprises Andy in the truck, she smashes one half of the little window. It cuts to Andy, then when it cuts back, both halves are now broken. (We don't hear her smash the second half when it cuts to Andy.)
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Other mistake: When Chucky's eyeless body hits the floor, for a split second when Chucky bounces, you can see there's a hole inside his head letting light through, revealing the head is hollow. However, Chucky's body is supposed to be full of human-like organs so his head shouldn't be hollow.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Jake strangles Chucky and his eyes pop out, in the first shot, blood drips onto Jake's hand. It then cuts to Jake's face. When it cuts back, the blood is gone.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Chucky tackles Jake and is telling him about Damballa being the reason why he's so strong, Jake's hand is either holding Chucky's forearm or wrist/hand depending on the angle.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Chucky says "One of us, Lexy! That's who you are!" to Lexy, his left arm goes from being extended to down by his side between cuts.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Other mistake: During the massacre at the theatre, Chucky is stabbing people from under the seats, presumably severing major arteries in the leg/groin area, thus killing the people. However, during the chaos, we see him stab up and an Asian woman screaming for a split second and her chest is covered with blood. How the heck did that happen from being stabbed in the groin area only a second prior?
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Nathan is bleeding into the popcorn, in the first two shots blood is flowing directly from his mouth into the popcorn, and there's no blood on his chin. In the third shot, suddenly there's blood on his chin that's dripping into the popcorn, and it's no longer coming out of his mouth.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Michelle offers Nathan some popcorn, blood starts coming out of his mouth and dripping into the popcorn. In the first shot, you can't see the popcorn, meaning it must be down by his chest below camera, but in the next shot, the box of popcorn is practically right under his chin, so you should have been able to see it.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Audio problem: When Lexy walks up to Chucky behind the movie screen, you can see Chucky's mouth moving like he's speaking, but there's no audible dialogue. (It's shortly before he says "See for yourself.") Seems they decided to change the dialogue in post-production and cut out some of it.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When the mayor is giving the press conference, the press in front of her are instantly closer together or further apart from each other depending on the camera angle. Additionally, the configuration of them changes slightly depending on the shot, with people moving around slightly.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Devon tells Jake that he thinks Andy and Kyle were inside the house that exploded, Jake's mouth goes from wide open to closed between cuts after he sharply exhales.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Tiffany is about to lift the bomb onto the table, Junior goes from kneeling next to Nica to standing next to her between cuts.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When the Chucky doll and Nica/Chucky are talking, when Chucky says "Don't get me started on Andy Barclay!", his hands change positions between cuts.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When all of the Chuckys are laughing, Nica/Chucky leans back and starts to move her hands towards her head. There's a cut, and suddenly her hands are already tucked behind her head. The main Chucky's head also rotates about 45 degrees between these two cuts.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When the one Chucky asks about twins, the two Chuckys next to him on the right side of the screen have different facial expressions when the camera cuts. Notably, one's mouth goes from open to closed, while the other's mouth goes from close to open.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Revealing mistake: During the big scene where the main Chucky is addressing the "Chucky army," you can tell most of the dolls aren't actually "alive." They're standing way too still and simply have a digital "blinking" animation applied over them.
An Affair to Dismember - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When the doll Chucky stops Nica/Chucky from killing Tiffany, Tiffany's hands change positions between cuts. Her head also goes from tilted up to flat on the floor between the same cut.
Answer: They were blamed for the death of Jake's foster brother, which was deemed a terrible accident, and they were sent to the reform school as a punishment. Presumably, when they had to leave the reform school given what happened, they were instead given community service as punishment.
