Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Other mistake: In the opening aerial shot of the field, referee and assistants are missing. (00:01:30)
Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: When Misugi chases the ball that hit him in the chest, the logo on his jersey is much larger than in the rest of the game. (00:09:20)
Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: After hitting the crossbar, Misugi turns around to look at Tsubasa, who eerily teleported meters away in a zone of the pitch far away from the one he was standing on earlier. (00:09:35)
Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: The reinvigorated Tsubasa passes by Musashi's number 4: the socks of both players are soaked in mud, but clean right after. (00:15:40)
Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Other mistake: The physics in Tsubasa failed attempt at scoring are pretty zany; his body is inconsistent positions as he tumbles after the tackle, and then from the prone position in the mud he is able to dive in midair beating a player that properly ran and jumped to hit the header. (00:17:25)
Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: When Yayoi thanks Tsubasa for scoring, a kid behind her is holding a towel over his head to protect himself from the rain. His white towel and green T-shirt become a yellow towel and plain white tee in the next. (00:21:15)
Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Character mistake: Roberto says that Misugi already "peaked as a player" as opposed to Tsubasa who can improve. Since he does not know of Misugi's heart condition, the notion that a football player reached already his full potential when he is barely 11 years old is nonsense.
Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Character mistake: In the Italian dub, Wakabayashi tells the keeper that he's replacing him, as in a substitution, while he simply asks him to let him have the ball for a moment.
Tsubasa's Resurrection - S2-E8
Factual error: At cost of stating the obvious; nobody is allowed to enter the pitch on a whim from the stands, even going as far as hitting a player kicking the football at them, it's pitch invasion. Nobody says anything about it and the referee is mysteriously absent though.
Continuity mistake: Camera on Jun's parents; the crowd behind their table in the wide shot is different (other clothes, colors etc) compared to the close-up. (00:04:45)
Continuity mistake: The towels and umbrella of the supporters behind the Musashi bench change color in the reaction shot on Yayoi when the coach asks a benchwarmer to get ready. (00:05:20)
Continuity mistake: When the supporter with the scaly-looking green skirt shouts "Misugi-san!" after his lame kick-off, she is missing "JUN" from the shirt. (00:06:30)
Continuity mistake: When the game starts again after Tsubasa's goal, Manabu is holding a can he uses as a drum, but it changed color (from metallic to red) since the previous episode. Besides, it was a can of soda, not a tin with a (dangerous!) jagged lid that required a can opener. In the next episode is back being a metallic beverage can. (00:06:30)
Other mistake: When Misugi is on the ground in pain after Tsubasa's equalizer, one of the forwards is watching him, but the number 10 on his jersey is transparent. (00:09:25)
Continuity mistake: The teams resume playing after Misugi came clean about his illness. When the camera pans to the crowd, there's nobody behind the table with Misugi's parents. (00:12:55)
Continuity mistake: Ishizaki misses his tackle on Misugi and knocks down the supporters instead. You can see that they fall into the playing field, inside the lines. Sanae sits on him. Though and the lines are gone. The pants of the rightmost bystander go from brown to blue, also. (00:17:55)
Continuity mistake: Misugi, half-blind from the strain, scores. Manabu sports at his neck the whistle that was missing earlier. (00:20:55)
Continuity mistake: During the dramatic post-goal phases, there are two players right by the ghost of Misugi in the aerial shot, but just Tsubasa in the closer angles. (00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: Misugi's face during his careless last stride has a muddy look. One could think that he's turning blue because his heart is malfunctioning, and he's lacking oxygen. When Takasugi gives chase, he has a muddy face too in a shot as well. They are both clean later.
Other mistake: Yayoi and a teammate help Misugi get back to midfield after the goal. One of the untamed cheerleaders of his sports a pink raincoat that is not colored properly within the lines. (00:05:45)
