Cygnus! Hyogen no senshi - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: Saori waves off Tatsumi and his tray of newspapers. In the next shot, her earring becomes a solid circle instead of the pearl grape earring she wears in the rest of the scene (with same angle and camera distance, it's not a simplification of the drawing). (00:04:55)

Cygnus! Hyogen no senshi - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When Hyoga is underwater holding his dead frozen mother's hand, the rose is in a spot of her hair away from any other flower. In the close-up of the cadaver, there is a wreath of pale pink flowers touching the rose he just put down. (00:07:25)

Other mistake: Hyoga is just a couple meters away from the hole in the ice he used to kiss his mother's corpse. He is still on all fours after having just crawled out of the hole, but he's got a fuzzy warm blanket on his back, that came literally from nowhere. He did not have it lying it around when he made the hole, and he does not have telekinesis; it's a bit hard to picture someone throwing a blanket on himself while crawling. (00:08:00)

Cygnus! Hyogen no senshi - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: In the close-up of the Cygnus armor awakening to welcome Hyoga as their knight, the swan is drawn in a totally different way from before (much narrower eyes, double row of feathers, different angle of the beak). (00:09:40)

Cygnus! Hyogen no senshi - S1-E3

Factual error: When the camera pans across the boxes from networks all over the world broadcasting the Galaxian wars, clocks have nonsensical hours; it's 10:20 wherever "ACO" is from, but 5:05 in "MHK" land. Timezones don't work that way. (00:10:45)

Cygnus! Hyogen no senshi - S1-E3

Other mistake: During the presentation of the Golden Cloth, you can count 9 boxes with Bronze armors at the base of the column, but there should be just 8 of them. That's because of the 10 scheduled fighters, Ikki is missing, but Hyoga as well; he appears in this episode but the organization does not know he made it back to the arena until the very last moment, and they even announce his absence to the crowd a bit later in the episode. Cygnus! Hyogen no senshi - S1-E3

Other mistake: During the fight with Ichi, in a couple of spots, the most noticeable one being when the claws penetrate into his arm, Hyoga is protected by the armor in a spot the armor is not designed to cover. (00:15:35)

Cygnus! Hyogen no senshi - S1-E3

Other mistake: A big deal is made of Hyoga freezing Hydra Ichi's arm solid so he can't hit with his fist and claw again ("I put your arm on ice, you'll never be able to use it again")...and yet a few moments later, after successfully delivering a knee strike, Ichi taunts him pointing the finger of the supposedly ice-sealed, frostbitten arm. Cygnus! Hyogen no senshi - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: In the sequence where Hyoga defeats Ichi breaking his armor with the extreme cold of his Diamond Dust, in one intermediate bit the coloring artist did something wrong and didn't fill the leg with the green color of the suit, but rather the pale skin color of Ichi's. So, for a second it seems that Ichi is in his underwear, or Hyoga froze his pants off. (00:21:05)

Saint Seiya trivia picture

Kiseki no fukkatsu! Yuyo no cosmo - S1-E5

Trivia: When Seiya opens his eyes hearing Miho calling his name, behind her in the audience a particularly bored animator decided to put in some silly characters, including the Tin Man, the Lion and a girl with the look of Dorothy from the wizard of Oz. (00:19:20)
